The Kyloe cow is a landmark in the city and a great talking point. We lived in the area for more than 10 years before moving to Durham. The owners of this fine restaurant deserve credit for their initiative and drive in establishing the best steak house in Edinburgh. We travel back to the city for 2 days each month and Kyloe, complete with their cow, is a must for us. To the complainers, stop moaning, fix the potholes and concentrate on the real issues in the city!

I'm a Sheffielder but eat at the Kyloe every time I'm in Edinburgh which is about four times a year. The Kyloe wouldn't be the same without it and who is it hurting? No one!
Save the Kyloe Cow!

It's commercial in a commercial area of the City, which it enhances. It's fun, and attracts people to spend money in the West End Village of Edinburgh.

H&M doesn't fit in with the look and feel of Princes St but we care about half a cow sticking out the side of a premier steak eatery? The Council make yet another poor decsion. Not that there is any way to make up for the Trams dabacle.
Save the cow! man.

Edinburgh Council - stop wasting my money on this and do something useful like finding a sense of humour!

Yet more pointless bureaucracy.

Bit rich considering the tram shambles.

Edinburgh were very happy to display the many cows around the city and enjoy the interest that they created in the summer of 2006. I can't believe that they want to get rid of the Kyloe Cow. We love the novelty of the Kyloe cow. Our friends held their wedding reception in your restaurant and I think there were as many photos taken of the cow as there were of the happy couple. :-)

The building may be listed but it is hardly an architectural gem. It has been improved immeasurably by the addition of the cow.

It is doing no harm to the listed building. It provides character and if anything a little humour to the town. If the cow goes the statue outside their office goes!

As usual, Edinburgh City Council really tackling the important issues in this city! Soulless bodies behind desks! Probably thinking the tram system is the best idea they've ever had! A system paid for by all, of no use to the majority!

Leave the cow alone !
Surely there must be other important things to take care of in Edinburgh.

Removing the cow is like removing the brand e.g removing endinburgh castle from edinburgh! The cow is symbolic to the restraunt and thats what its known for. Its a show stopper when walking d

Do the council have nothing more to do with their time! I could think of far more important things they could be doing.

Kyloe tidy steak tidy chips. What are the council up to trying to remove the cow have they really nothing better to do? Ahhh just twisted my ankle on a pothole...

Out of many issues that exist within a city I find the removal of cow sculpture trivial and a waste of the councils time. Why stop there? Stop advertising of lingerie and the closing down of Ann Summers? It just baffles me.
