I think its fair that we all should practice our religion freely and not allow such things to happen in our comunities and stand together as Brothers and Sisters.

Disguted in this. We live in Riverlea all our lives and never had a problem with any religion. If that's the case then all church bells, christian marches with drums and cars with loud music must b stopped.

This bill cannot be passed by the council cause it states clearly in our bill of rights. We have the freedom of religion.Besides our Ummah will not sit idle while these forces of evil are at play.

South Africa is a country all about Freedom since the apartheid era ended in 1994.By not allowing muslims to hear there prayer call freely is definitely not a freedom of religion.

I live across a Lutheran Church which rings the bell for more than 4min @ 8am n 9am on a Sunday Morning.I am Muslim and I am fine with that. I hope others are as tolerant. Let us appreciate the fact that we are a religious society, unlike many so called First world countries, who have abandoned religion. The Azaan, Bells or any other Call to Prayer is vital to remind us of our duty to our creator n humanity.
