NEW PRINCIPAL RUIN THE SCHOOLI am the parent, and my child has been with this school for more than 10 years.
During this period, I have witnessed the school change principals at least 2 times.
To be honest, all these years, I wouldn't give any bad review about this school until the arrival of a new principal appointed in May 2024 recently.
Before the arrival of the new principal, the school was doing just fine—not fantastic, but acceptable. Importantly, my child was always happy going to school but not anymore.
Unhappiness starts showing since the day the new principal, who holds a doctorate title, took over. I have known a few good teachers who have left the school because of her as well, and the new principal has only been with the school for barely a month.
Unlike the former principal, who focused more on fundamental matters rather than trivial issues. Whereas for the new principal, she has implemented many unnecessary changes less than a month of her tenure:
You may asked why not change the school since not happy with it.
My 1st reaction was definitely to get my child out from the school. However, my child is reluctant to change to a new school even though I gave an option. I guess rapport has built and networking with friends as well as maintain good relationships with caring teachers over all these years here. I am just sad to see this situation happening to the school, as my child has been with the school for a long time.
Moreover, my child has dropped me a question which I have to agree: "I love the school and already with the school for 10 over years. Why is it me to leave and not the new principal who join only for just a month since she is the main cause." Well, indeed.
This is not a very good sign for the school's future. The survival of a school largely depends on whether the principal's leadership abilities are up to standard. Something needs to be done if the school continues to decline due to bad leadership.
Recent changes by the new principal have disrupted our school community without proper communication or consideration for students and parents.
Here I am started an online petition and would like to gather more voices from concerned Parents, Students above 16 years old and Community Members, especially Parents who put their children in this school.
And I do hope the school from other branches will join us to advocate this together, because you do not wish to see this happen in your children's school as they are under the same management.
All support is needed to ensure our children receive the best education in a nurturing environment.

老实说，多年来，我对这所学校没有任何不好的评价，直到2024年5月新任命的校长到来.
在新校长到来之前，学校表现还算可以，不是特别出色，但也能接受。最重要的是，我的孩子一直很喜欢上学，但现在不再是这样了。
自从新校长上任那天起，不开心的情绪开始显现。几位我认识的好老师也因为她离开了学校，而新校长才上任不到一个月。
以前的校长更注重基本问题，而不是琐碎的事情。而新校长在不到一个月的任期内就实施了许多不必要的变化.
你可能会问为什么不换学校，既然不满意现状。我的第一反应当然是让孩子离开这所学校。
然而，尽管我提供了选择，我的孩子却不愿意转学。我猜这是因为在这里建立了关系网，与朋友和关心他们的老师保持了良好的关系。我只是很难过看到学校发生这种情况，因为我的孩子在这里待了很长时间。
而且，我的孩子也向我提出了一个我不得不同意的问题。“我喜欢这所学校，已经在这里十多年了。为什么是我离开，而不是只加入一个月的新校长离开呢，因为她是主要原因。”确实如此。
这对学校的未来不是一个好的信号。学校的生存很大程度上取决于校长的领导能力是否胜任。如果学校因领导不善而继续下滑，就必须采取行动。
新校长最近的举动在没有适当沟通或考虑学生和家长的情况下，扰乱了我们的学校社区。
我在这里发起了一个在线请愿，希望能聚集更多关心的家长、16岁以上的学生和社区成员的声音，特别是那些将孩子送到这所学校的家长。
我也希望其他分校的家长能加入我们，共同倡导，因为你们也不希望这种情况发生在你们孩子的学校上，他们是在同一个管理下。

Real School was a reputable school until 2023, and under Pearly and Thomas' leadership, the school moved in the right direction.Under the new leadership team (2024 Dr. x ), there is no clear vision of where the school is heading, and there is a lack of leadership, causing high teacher/principal turnover and low school morale. The school culture shifted from an International (open and modern) to a local style (conservative and close-minded like SJKC). Students are no longer happy attending school like before, parents are unhappy to see the changes however the leadership is reluctant to communicate and take the feedback from parents. Urging the school's higher management to step in to prevent further damage to the school's reputation.

There are many unreasonable new rules after the new principal took office. The previous principals didn't have any problems and were very good at listening to the opinions of parents. I hope my children can learn in a healthy environment instead of being mentally oppressed. Unreasonable changes to the rules are not the primary task for the school to improve, nor can they reflect the presence of the new principal. Choosing a private school means that you cannot accept the old-fashioned educational philosophy of SJKC, but the current principal seems to be implementing the old-fashioned educational philosophy of punishment.kate chen (johor, 2024-06-08)

For a better environment. Especially in terms of sports, students compete in the name of the school, which is undoubtedly a plus for the school. I agreed with the statement above; my daughter is currently studying at Real School Permas Jaya. Apart from that, for me International schools aim to foster good communication skills in children, emphasizing that punishment shouldn't be the primary approach. It's about taking responsibility for one's actions rather than assigning blame. Recently, it feels no different from attending a local school. While the former principal was highly regarded and drew students to him, the current one remains distant, and my daughter wouldn't approach her even if she were present.I believe that as the principal of an international school, it's crucial to understand that military education is not the purpose for which parents send their children here, . Please carefully consider the seriousness of this matter.

The cantin food are too expensive also the canteen is very unhygienic. Someone even found a cockroach in their food.The new principal was very rude and even said that if you are not satisfied, you can change schools.And the event in Saturday change to Friday,all the event change to Friday how the parent can come?And the principal also announced that national secondary class would be divided according to grades. But before we came to this school, the marketing said that it would not be divided according to grades like government schools so that students would not discriminate against students with poor grades.

I’m disappointed as my child just joined this school half year ago, nowadays he always seem hungry after back from school,he mentioned school meals not delicious at all. Main concerns:- School not allowing students to represent the school in external events.
- Canteen food prices and quality.
- Graduation fees (upwards of RM200 per person), causing many S5 students of 2023 to be uninterested in even attending the graduation.
- Students only being allowed to stay in the library for 20 minutes of the 30 minute Break and Lunch times. This is quite troublesome to students who are actually studying in the library.
- “Keep Quiet” rule not implemented in the library. Librarians and prefects also do not bother to remind students to keep their voices down.

I'm signing because, since ms pearly leave the school. The school became even more worst. Ms Amelia leave the school too. Everyone is also very sad and upset of this. Wednesday need to wear Maroon Shrit, Maroon Shrit is very thick and rough and is very uncomfortable to wear it. Even go to toilet need to wear the student pass. I miss the principal Ms pearly. 食堂素质越来越差，我的两个孩子是不挑食的，但是自从食堂食物有调动了以后，我的孩子下课就没有什么食物可以选择了，而且很多苍蝇，食物不够，没有的选择，还要收费RM 12一碗，对一位学生长期来说是非常昂贵的，加上卫生方面很差，害到我的孩子们不肯吃学校食物，变得家长每天要烦恼早上要让他们带什么食物去吃，我们是有工作的，搞到家长很累。希望可以赶快改善食堂的问题。Ester Lee (Kulai, 2024-06-09)

The new principal uses ORDERS more than communication. Our children do not need a military-style education. Please be polite so our children can learn from good examples.
