Im professing the faith of Sikh and having the establishment of the religious institution at its present premise of paramount importance to ensure the sustenance of the sikh religious by the elders in terms of accessibilityHarjinder Singh (Selayang, 2024-03-11)

this land doesn't only belong to the Sikh committee of Selayang but to every Sikh that was together during the 70s in order to built this gurdwara. It has been there for so many years. It wouldn't be a very convenient decision to relocate a place that has been very sacred and holy to the people there. We will stand strong to not relocate this temple as it holds alot of good memories and prayers from all over the world. TqHarwinder singh (Petaling Jaya, 2024-03-11)

I have grown up attending satsangs in this Gurdwara. We have run camps, teach kirtan and gatka to The children in selayang and nearby sangat in this Gurdwara. Moving it away to a secluded and flood prone area will Be a disaster.Harwinder Singh (Setapak, 2024-03-11)

This is utter nonsense from the state government. Imagine if this was a mosque, they will actually give the land that they want to build the condo to the mosque management and they will build a car park there. Do not give in. Fight till the end.Harjeet Singh (Kuala Lumpur, 2024-03-11)

The location of the gurdwara serves it purpose. The government should stop utilising existing development / structures / building for mere profit. I support in keeping the gurdwara as it is.Surinjeet Singh (Kuala Lumpur, 2024-03-11)

I’m signing this because it is utterly disrespectful and unfair to relocate a religious monument for the selfish purposes of “their” own good.Farahpreet Kaur (Kuala Lumpur, 2024-03-11)

I'm one of the first generation of child devotee who attended this Gurudwara Sahib and this holy place was strategically allocated by the then local council representative, taking into account religious needs and tolerance amongst the local populace then.My objections to any form of relocation, compensated or otherwise remains firm to a "NO".
Thanks

How can the committee bowed down to the developers and give away years old gurdwara a symbol of Sikh community of selayang for many years just for individual sake? Why can't the committee members stand against it and fight for the land..more then 50years and don't tell that we are not entitled to keep hold of our gurdwara? Look at the Raman, indian temple why no disturbance... becaused the committee is there to uphold the pride of their people and it's a worship place..then why our selayang gurdwara committees can't do that? Is it personal agenda or self satisfaction for relocating ...please safe our gurdwara and our community around..since it's decrising..tq🙏Harpajan Singh (Selayang, 2024-03-11)
