I have bought my property as an agricultural property and use it as such. There has never been residential services like tarred roads, storm water management, sewerage management, rubbish collections or any of the services that is included in residential rates. I have had to pay all of this over the years without any say but has paid for litigation against this and will continue to do so untill this unfair matter is resolvedLida Heyden (Pretoria, 2022-02-01)

The roads are undriveable. Potholes everywhere and water carrying away The soil. None of the rain water is collected and carried away via storm water drainage. The Conditions are unsanitary and leaves a breeding ground for pests. DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY WE ARE PAYING THESE HIGH RATES WHEN THERE IS NO INFRASTRUCTUREShawn Curry (Benoni, 2022-02-01)

Across GCE Tshwane have collected R65M more under the new tariffs (2012 to 2021), than what they collected before. But, the services and infrastructure we receive today is exactly what we had in 1999. It is not like Tshwane tarred the roads or installed streetlights. Residents receive nothing for our tax money.Julian Liebenberg (Grootfontein Country Estates, 2022-02-01)
