Denise Parpinel (Erasmuskloof, 2020-07-18)

We live across the road and the burning of wood fires affects many people who suffer from asthmatic conditions and gave to sleep with windows closed. And not to mention the noise factor late in the evenings and early mornings of partying, loud shouting, music - it is unbearable. It is unhygienic to have them squatting there in a built up suburban area. It affects all of us and certainly downgrades our properties should we ever want to sell.
Please, please move them.

Elaine Battle (Pretoria, 2020-07-18)

It seems that any complain raised just get ignored. I have on numerous occasions raised the matter with the DA person resposible for that area. I ended up with with the chief of the metro police who just said there is nothing they can do. Apparenty a court order is required to remove them but then Tshwane Municipality is resposible to provide land where they can erect shacks to stay.
