I want to camp cross province. While camping I'm normally well distanced from fellow campers. I use my own equipment so I know it clean and the swimming pools have so many chemicals that I will be covered.Riaan Le Roux (Krugersdorp, 2020-06-27)

I am concerned about the number of businesses that are closing and the employees that are now sitting without an income. South Africa due to some draconic rules during lockdown cannot afford to loose more income due to this pandemic. There are huge numbers of people employed in the camping and tourism sectors all with families that are loosing jobs and so probably the only income of the household. Tourism CAN be opened under strict rules.Willem Pretorius (Harrismith, 2020-06-27)

I am signing because camping supports the idea of social distancing fully. Sites with private ablutions limit the use to your family members ( who would also share such facilities at home). It is outdoors and I think good for the soul without risk of infection. This way we also support struggling industry without risk increaseYolanda Du Plessis (Pretoria , 2020-06-27)

I'm signing because I believe that a camping site is 100% safer than for instance a cinema! Out in the open air, lots of open space. Ablutions are kept cleaner than a public loo in a shopping centre. It makes no sense to keep them closed.Esmé Tenner (Edenvale, 2020-06-27)

the industry employs many people not only in the tourist side but also down stream manufacturing of equipment. Many jobs are still at risk in this industry and with the termination of TERS at end of June these people will have not income as employers are forced to retrench staff.Garry Coady (Durban, 2020-06-27)

With shops being open, church services allowed, funerals allowed etc people are mingling daily. There is no social distancing in the shops. Camping is an outdoor activity, fresh air and you can avoid contact with people. You can get out of town where infection is most likely.Bob Swart (Durban, 2020-06-27)

I love camping and teaching my children the values of nature and the outdoors. When we camp there is no tv's and we as a family get to talk to each other and interact. It's a valued time for us as a family to connect with each other. Our escape from the urban jungle and day to day rush. Thank you.Christine Erasmus (Kempton Park, 2020-06-27)

1. The camping resorts are really struggeling as they had no income for more than 3moths and staff will loose there jobs.2. Camping allows for social distancing as you camp on your own site with your ownaccomodation.
3. Ablutions can be sanitise after each visit and social distancing can be practised
Linda Pienaar (Krugersdorp, 2020-06-27)
