The graduating class of 2020 has worked far too hard for a Youtube video virtual graduation to be all that they receive. GECDSB should be doing more not just for the students at Walkerville but for seniors at schools all across the board. Other boards and their schools have had successful graduations that occurred in a socially distanced manner that followed all the protocols currently in place. It is extremely disappointing to see GECDSB not making the attempt to do the same or even postponing graduations until a proper ceremony can occur.

were losing an experience everyone gets. I understand its because of the pandemic but it CAN be rescheduled. I want to see my classmates for the last time. I want to give them hugs and tell them how proud I am of them. we've worked hard to get to this point and I just want that sense of closure. we've gone through 14 years of school and for some of us this is it. thank you for reading.

We need a grad. I need to experience something happy during this time and this is something I dreamed of forever and I feel robbed. Class of 2020 face masks with our school colours and 6 feet apart seating with no guests at Kennedy's football stadium or willistead park. It's not that difficult.

I'm signing because I believe that the students deserve to have this milestone acknowledged. They have worked hard either in class or online due to covid 19. Please see this from their point of view. I didn't even get grad pictures of my daughter as she was in co-op and missed the photos being taken. So I would like a traditional graduation ceremony so I can have some pictures to look back on.

I've spent my whole highschool career inside an actual school rather then online just so I could go to grad and prom and other things like those. Now they're trying to tell me they'll give me a virtual pat on the back instead?
