I’m signing because I’m sick of having to drive to Barrhead or the city to go to a outdoor splash park this would bring in more money into our local businesses such as food drinks ice cream and local shopping not to mention we can hold fundraising to help cover the costs of running it per year and if a smaller town like Barrhead can afford it there’s no excuse to as why we can’t

I believe this town needs more for the younger children and that includes a spray park. I have 5 young children that love going to Barrhead and St.Albert just for the splash park and we usually make the journey.

I’m signing to ask the town of Westlock to put a nice splash park to give our community members something fun to do in our own community! To encourage community members to stay in our own community and to spend locally while enjoying the summer. A spray park would be an outdoor activity that ALL ages could enjoy! I work with kids and find that there is very little to do with them. It's sad that we always have to drive to Barrhead or Morinville because of the lack of activities for kids in Westlock.

I have two younger children myself. My hubby will be away out of town for work and I would like to get out more during the summer time with my boys. I love the barrhead splash park and even the one in white court and I think westlock needs one too. I don't always have the extra funds to take my boys to the swimming pool all of the times and an outdoor splash park would be awesome to cool off at outside. I don't want to coop up my boys inside all summer long but I also don't want them to cook outside in the heat either. I really hope we get enough signatures and get one really soon!
