The Halo is hypocritical. It prevents vision, and does nothing to prevent smaller parts entering the cockpit. It also looks very ugly so it doesnt make sense in formula 1

I've been following the Formula 1 for almost 40 years. I've seen all kinds of changes to the way the cars look: teapots on wheels, bend noses, shark fins, walrus noses, tea trays and much, much more but none so ugly and stupid as the halo. Most of all I doubt very much that it will contribute to safety as flying car parts that have broken off (that's happening a lot with the fragile front wings, all the little winglets and other body parts) can still easily pass though the halo and hit the driver's helmet.

F1 is an open wheeler class. Racing an f1 car is dangerous but it is part of the game. The cars will not be prettier. F1 should be for real man, with real cars with v10 or v12 engines and NO head protection such as the halo or the shield!

Well the Halo is in my opinion besides dirt ugly a system that will bring it own unknown risks to F1.
As long as it is trading one risk for an unknown other I would stick with the devil I know.
