I live 2 houses away from this intersection and see cars speed past it most everyday. From where Rockcrest Way connects to the Glen Lakes subdivision all the way through Brookfield to Shelbyville Rd, there is not one stop sign. Becoming more of an issue the bigger the neighborhood gets.

I have 3 young children that play on Rockcrest Way and often cross to get to friends houses across the street. We are one of the houses closest to the intersection and so many cars drive at an excessive speed up over the hill. A 4 way stop will force them to slow down. Most days when backing up out of my drive way I will look both ways several times and no car is in sight, by the time I am backed into the street someone is very close right behind me. A sign they were coming up over that hill too fast. Thank you

A stop sign would make it much safer for my grandchildren to play in the front of the house. Too often I watch cars go too fast back and forth on the Main Street. It is also a school bus stop on the corner of the intersection.

I live just a few houses down from this intersection and have witnessed a several incidences where a child has been very close to being hit by a car. I'm signing because I live at the top of the hill at Rockcrest Way. I have watched the disregard for pedestrians, school buses, & the extreme speed problem. I am afraid for my child's safety at all times outside & someone is going to get killed if this doesn't change. Not only should a four way stop be enforced, but adequate speed limit signs, & children at play signs as well. This is a huge issue for our subdivision.

I am signing this petition because I live at the exact corner where the stop sign needs to be placed. Drivers are consistently over the speed limit because it is by a hill. Drivers do not realize that their cars are speeding up so fast. There is also a blind spot due to the fact that there is a steep hill, drivers do not have vision until they are almost upon the four way intersection. It is extremely dangerous for children and adults who are wanting to cross at this intersection. It is even more dangerous because it is a school bus stop. Children are constantly coming and going across this intersection.
