Regarding Species A.rugosus being banned. This species was imported legally for the past 20 years with permits issued by KZN. With no incidence of any kind with regards to biodiversity this example of keeping in captivity should be applauded not condemned. Not only has it set the standard for no incidence but the species is now firmly established and there is no need to import animals from the wild.

 I completely agree with having  a system of permits in place, but the black listing is by far the stupidest thing I have ever heard of.
