Campaign to increase the frequency of subtitled cinema showings

I will support this all the way!!

The petition is for a really good cause! Me and my mum (who's deaf) have been to the cinema expecting subtitles loads of times and there were non!

This might be a better solution, when it comes about.

its very possible that these would be a better solution :) and i cant wait for them to be mass made and produced so that we can all have fair access to film :)

but for now the only available solution is for film companies and cinemas to keep releasing and showing subtitled films :/

although my son who is deaf is not yet old enough to read i know he would benefit from this when he is old enough to, he would like to be able to go to cinema with his brothers and sisters and not worry if he cant hear it as he would be able to read it, this is an important thing for deaf children, their families and deaf adults x

There should be the option , i use the words a lot

Everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy going to the cinema!
