I grew up in Rancho Cucamonga and teach in Cucamonga and as a parent & member of this community I request that Red Hill Park receives proper repair! This city has a history & memories that are based around thus beautiful park & it's lovely lake. Like a marriage...let's not just throw away the many years that were invested in the city, but let's rebuild to fix what we already have! Let's keep our lake and pass down memories from our childhood to not only our children...but to future generations.

I may not live,in rancho any more but i graduated from ALHS and have many pictures around the lake and throughout the park,it would be a shame if one day I was to take my kids back to show them sights from the old days and what a old dried up hole remained?

this park is more than just a place for children to play. It has been there for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the scenery. its my home away from home and you can just take the best part of it away.

What is the difference between Rancho and other city's? One huge thing is our parks. Rancho is one of the fastest growing city's with new homes going up all over but we can't maintain our parks??? Something is wrong here! Where is all this money going?

I would like the city to send out another survey if possible. I don't think residents knew that it was coming, tossed it as junk mail. PLease reconsider.

Rancho Cucamonga is known for it's beautiful Parks, those are a huge part of the reason people move here and buy homes here. If you start letting the parks go, slowly the rest of the city will. People will move, crime will rise..... then we will not be wondering how we are going to pay for our parks and such, but how we are going to pay for the increase of officers we will need. The value of our homes will drop and our local economy will be hurt much more.

Red Hill in particular is one of our oldest parks, most beloved parks, don't take away what we all have known. Playing ball, taking Prom pictures, family outings, movies and concert in the parks are just to name a few things that have become traditions at the park. Don't take away the traditions passed down from generation to generation of RC residents! People who have moved away even come "Home" for these things!

Give citizens of the west end a chance to vote on raising assessment district tax rates to save our parks. A phone survey and a vote of the council is not adequate. Voting should be our right.

Please tell us what we need to do! "Where there is a will there is a way" The people of RC have a will! Help us find the way!

I grew up in Rancho and going to the parks. Especially Red Hill. I have many memories at these parks and would like to continue them with my children as they love going as well.

The parks are what make rancho. To take away some of the biggest aspects of red hill park makes me afraid that it may make rancho gang related.

Red Hill park lake area is one of the city jewels. It's one of the very best reasons to have incorporated, there have not been many others!

Red Hill Park is a beautiful safe park for kids and families to enjoy. I'm from Alta Loma and would hate to see it changed or gone. We need more parks like Red Hill :)

Let's organize a volunteer firefighting group from the citizens of Rancho Cucamonga. I would gladly offer my services for a stipend.

It is time to review the salaries that we as taxpayers are paying that are exorbitant. I do not discredit heroism but I have found that a real hero does not desire extraordinary compensation.

I'm sure there are things that can be cut that pretain to few people....the park has many visitors every day
