There is loads of family's who's lost a loved one and likes to pay their respect, putting flowers down, one varce is not enough! Big family's like mine anyway one varce is not enough.

couldn't agree more. I think it's discusting. It's bad enough cemeteries are putting notices up to say that you're not allowed to put solar lights on.

Think people should be allowed to put as many vases as they want to .As they have paid for the plot

As far as I am aware it is only flintshire council doing this, but it may become an even bigger issue across Britain.

Absolutely horrific. I'm presuming the idiot who thought this up has never lost someone special to them or..... Doesn't care.
Families pay for the plots. It's our decision on our plot how many flowers we put down.
Flowers etc are a sign that our loved ones are not forgotten and somewhere to go and feel close to them. I will not be told what I can and cannot do.
Flintshire council should be ashamed, go spend our taxes doing something useful you selfish lot

This is disgusting family's should be aloud to decide how many vases they want as it's the family that pays for the plot

Because both my grandparents have atleast 3 vases on there graves. Because they were loved from a big family and we all like to put fresh flowers on the grave. Especially for birthdays, anniversaries etc . They may not be with us in the flesh any more but I think about them and miss them everyday. This one vase per grave is ridiculous and will not stick

Graves are not free, the family pay the council for that plot therefore they own that small piece of land! Who are the council to tell anyone they cannot put more than one vase on their own land!!!

We got a lot of family to put flowers on graves so it wouldn't be fair to be limited to one vase. You should be able to have as many vases as you like.

I think this is disgusting, families of loved ones should be allowed to put as many flowers as they like

I need more than one pot as more than one person takes flowers

This is unkind. Hardly encourages care of grave. No logical reason.

Many family member visit at  different times to show there respect to whom ever they visit how on Earth can each family  member now when flowers Have been placed and what do they do with them when they arrive just throw them away this will cause so much distress it's a cemetery it's hard enough to visit as it is for some , we are supposed to be a recycling community not  wasting money what  uter rubbish Think again Flintshire CC we give flowers as respect To our loved ones yes our loved ones not yours to decide what where and why x

Hill yes sometimes other members of family want to remember a loved one. And yes I've paid for this plot for my husband ito not for the council to say!

My hushband is in one of Flintshire cemetery and his children and grandchildren have put there own special vase on it would be a shame for them to be removed any I thought we paid for that plot so is'nt up to the person who has payed . The council can't even cut the grass

Why should the council have a say in what is on a persons grave?? My nana and grandad are in the same plot so they can't have a vase each??? Doesn't make sense especially with how much graves cost x
