Rendezvous is truly beautiful and theres a reason its so hard to get to. It should remain as untouched as possible.

Please leave this beach alone as is. Antigua's attraction as a place to visit every year has nothing to do with how many Hotels you have - it has everything to do with how many unspoiled beaches you have. Please do not develop this beach.

"They" are not listening to the voice of the people who oppose this hotel & the certain desecration of Rendezvous Bay- Who are "They"? We all know who they are - and they too know who if reading this. They may not regret it now, but their and our children & grandchildren will if they do not see sense and use the long term approach & refuse this development.

Antigua doesnt need another hotel. This is a beautiful beach and a well kept secret, exposing it will just destroy it

#18 Original owners of land ???

2011-06-28 21:22

Is that true that this piece of land was previously owned and sold to the Developers by WALTER`s FAMILY MEMBERS ?? ( George Walter - former prime minister of Antigua and Barbuda)

Having spent 11 years living in Antigua, Rendezvous Bay has always been a most wonderful piece of nature to escape to for some lovely quiet time at the weekend.
Long may this last... please... we really don't need a new hotel here.
antigua me come from!

#20 I love rendezvous the way it is.

Keeping Rendevous as the precious piece of unspoilt wilderness is essential, we truly need to act on saving this rare jewel from development..please!

Cant believe i'm hearing this , sureeee give away another beach to hoteliers leave nothing natural on the island see u how like it in a couple o years. I remember my first visit to this beach it was for my Geography class. That hike plus the lovely beach at the end is one i will never forget..

Lets preserve one of Antigua's last untouched bays. Why is human Development so beneficial to this beach? Isn't perfect as is? Nesting turtles, diving dolphins offshore, white sandy beach for walks, nesting birds. A proposed hotel with restaurants, family parks, pools, retail stores...i mean really this sounds like another all inclusive nightmare!!!

Remember a baby pig being caught (and quickly released) on a beach bbq day. Such a beautiful unspoiled place and home to many species of wildlife and would be great to see it stay that way.

What Antigua needs is a decent Golf Course.
