I work as a counselling therapist and the trauma that is making people afraid to live normal lives . more our children that have to live with fear .we as family recently lost family members to crime . together we need make south africa safe

I don't think there's a family in Lenasia that isn't a victim to violent crime. We also need to organise A MASSIVE MARCH which the various civic and religious bodies can organise. It seems the powers that be only take notice when we protest - - and this march should be a rolling march

I am tired of constantly living in fear. We constantly have issues with our street lights and we always afraid as it is dark outsideisI have called the police station numerous times in the past and theree is always an issue that all the vehicles are out. We need better police officers where we can feel safe.

The crime in lenasia must fall . Too many robberies and killings in a day. It's become a nightmare . The criminals are roaming around at night and we innocent people who work so so damn hard for what we have are so gruesomely attacked and murdered for our hard sweat belongings. It's becoming intolerable! It seems that the police are all for the criminals and not for us innocent people. When the community find tthe criminal the police take forever and if they do come to your house they need proof and evidence and let the criminals free , if u take the law into your own hands and stand as a community then they want lock the innocent up. It really is getting out of hand .

These ludicrous crimes need 2 be terminated immediately. Furthermore, how is it that criminals always have more rights than victims in almost every incident. Example the violation of the criminals rights & privileges what rights should they have after commiting these tragic & brutal crimes. They should be arrested & incarcerated in the same manner as they commit the crime on their victims.

As a Lenasian, crime is just spiralling out of control and the community needs to stand against the thugs cause the law has no haste in doing anything. My 80 year old aunt was brutally murdered recently and nothing is being done.

The problem is larger than the police. Lenasia has been neglected on all fronts over the last 15 to 20 years. We see our parks not being maintained, our pavements are neglected and never cleaned, storm water drains are never cleared, infrastructure such as sporting facilities e.g.our stadiums and sports grounds are neglected. Roads are falling apart in most areas. As a tax payer I am highly disappointed in the overall neglect of Lenasia. The Police service is virtually not serving the community as it should most of the time. There are members that try but the workload and lack of resources is impacting on delivery. We need to ask what are the politicians going to do for Lenasia. No more empty promises please we want action and service delivery.
