I really miss Jim. Just remember all that he did to help Johnstown win Hockeyville. Also how much he has supported Special Olympics. He made a small mistake and I forgive him. WJAC should too.

Jim is the only one I look forward to seeing! I enjoy his personality, his knowledge, his heartfelt caring, and involvement in our communities! He could have his own show! We would faithfully watch! Not sure I can stomach the new crew you have... Tim and Marty are okay but the others, are not daily personalities I want to watch... don't know What I'll do now, but I guess channel 6 will not be my go to without Jim!

I realize that very often decisions are made from a business stand point and the public does not need to know the reasoning behind a staff change. That being said, when you have a staff member who has been a part of our lives for so many years, interacting out in public with all of us on a day to day basis, not just on tv....some kind of closure/explanation/goodbye is really warranted......he is not just a tv figure ...he is a part of our community and has done so much for our community that we deserve better from the station

I don't know what Jim did to get fired if anything, but Marty & Jen are reporting that of the longevity WJAC has with (their) family. So you get rid of one of their family(JIM BURTON). My wife and I watched Channel 6 news every morning mostly because we enjoyed Jim Burton's comments during the broadcast. He was so entertaining and had such a great sense of humor.
