This issue is dangerous,a potentially life threatening "known fault"
It's obvious the the heater wiring and resistor are not fit for purpose and it is your duty as a reputable manufacturer to put your hands up and do the right thing to put the issue right.
I'm also concerned that the same components are shared accross other models.

Do the right thing Vauxhall.

I am a zafira owner with 3 children. Something needs to be done before there is a serious injury. I am a little worried driving my car at the miniute and I am told I will be waiting 2-3 weeks to have my car seen.

Already disgusted by Vauxhall, I am horrified to see a family trapped in their burning car and Vauxhall too cowardly to speak to Watchdog again, or call a recall on Zafiras.

Because the idea of my car not being safe to travel in is a very scary thought. I am a foster carer and travel with 5 children, to get out of a burning car with 5 children would be impossible and doesn't bare thinking about!

I have 2 sons and no longer feel safe using the car with them in it. I've tried to have my vehicle checked but parts aren't in stock! Something needs to be done so we all feel safe driving!

Am a Zafira b owner. My kids lives mean something to me. No price on there lives nor anyone elses come to that. Vauxhall need to grow a backbone and step up immediately. Does it take a child's death to make Vauxhall wake up to the fact that there is clearly a safety issue.

Because I own a zafira that I'm still waiting to be checked after the appointment was cancelled and no date as yet for when it can be rescheduled. They all need to be checked as surely everyone's safety is a priority!

I have the b model and I take my young FOUR grand children in it for outings and I would like to know if the car I drive is safe to take them in I would not like to put there lives in danger aswell as mine

Very simple, my Jan 2006 Zafira went on fire August 2014, this could have been thearted had Vauxhall informed me of the dangers. It cost me a lot of money in low insurance pay out, hiring another car for 5 or 6 weeks, etc!!

I signed because my Vauxhall Zafira has been having and is still at the garage. Have no car now and I have 5 kids. Currently in garage since the 12th of October.
Strong smell of petrol, problem with fuel regulator,emitting white smoke. I have been in and out of Vauxhall since June.

My friend drives a Zafira and has 2 young children plus children she looks after as a childminder. Its a safety issue and should be checked. It is mainly people who have children or taxi companies that own these cars and they are risking the safety of their passengers every time they drive this car.

I have a zafira design 1.8 easytronic2007plate and every time I drive it I can smell burning,I have three children and I don't feel safe with them in this car .there are other problems as well,but Vauxhall say these are common faults ,seems these cars are one big common fault ,I want to feel safe in my own vehicle but this does not cover it I'm begging Vauxhall to do the right thing,recall these death traps before someone dies.
