 Yes and they say we have industry leading contract- yea right!!!!! Who does Alaska airlines have for a union???? Does anybody know???? And how many signatures do we need to get rid of LG??? What are we going to do about all of this!!!!

Bitter party of about 1% of our dedicated Flight Attendant force is trying to get you to sign this meaningless petition that has absolutely no weight. Don't  fall for these tactics by the 1% crowd. Laura

 Not when you allow them to flourish in an uncontrolled atmosphere where one person can sign it multiple times. There is no protocol or safeguards to prevent that which renders the petition powerless.  Trust me on this one, if you're one of the 1%ers that doesn't like the job I'm doing then use the traditional power of your vote when the next election comes up.  Don't waste your time on petitions that the 1%'ers put out.  The vast majority of FA's are smart enough to not be swayed by this cheap ploy.  Unbelieveable. Would Any One of You be able to devote your time and energy into Negotiating with the company. I'd like to see one of you run for the office of President of our union (no matter what union we have/go with) I know for a FACT, AFA Would NEVER have gone Back to Doug to ask for him to re enstate the "Lost Wages", hour wages we oh so deserve.  Shameful....

 Puhleeez....AFA Would NEVER Have gone back to Doug P., One last time, looking out for our welfare and hourly wages we oh so deserve. I am Orig. America West and they didn't do CRAP for us. Maybe UsAirways, but they were so far up United's A**. Thank God for APFA, our "in house" union who has our best interests at heart, (In my opinion). I like so far what I see from them.

 APFA did CRAP to the TWA Flight Attendants and stapled them to the bottom and now will not integrate with DOH like everyone else. AFA would have treated then fairly. APFA does not follow true Union Principles and Procedures.

 Wasn't Reno Air stapled to the bottom as well?   Wasn't TWA acquired as apposed to a merger which is what American and USAir are doing?   Just asking.

 AA was in bankrupcy so it looks like AA was acquired...not merged. Most of

our management was removed. AA F/A's could have been stapled if not for the McCaskill-Bond Law

initiated by TWA people to get seniority back but they were excluded. It helped everyone but them!

 you didn't mention Reno Air.   I do believe AA/USAirways is a merger, not an acquisition.

again, based on many of the posts, it seems many of the people on here are those that previously worked for TWA.   They are going to carry the seniority issue to their graves.   Many are in dues arrears and their vote does not count, yet they try to sway dues current FA's to vote according to the ex TWA FA's needs.   They are biased against the APFA and will do anything to see the APFA destroyed.   Ignore their comments.  They are enjoying all the benefits of our new TA, and the recently announced additional wages like everyone else.  As with any group, it is not all of them that are destructive, just the ones with the biggest mouths.

 Don't be to complacent ! These pay increased that we've got they are much deserved and more!! These are the salaries of other airline FA's(maybe less). And believe me considering what the arbitrators (hired by the company) were willing to give us, of course we will accept it! But don't forget there will NEVER be a profit sharing check and it had been predicted that ALL remaining airlines profits in the coming years will be record profits, don't forget that your health insurance will go up unimaginable !!!! And let's not forget that other airline FA'S will continue to get pay raises!!!some WITHOUT a union!!!! I commend DP for doing what he did but rest assure he knows what he's doing, he don't want to look bad in public opinion or for the stocks either . LG still had to go- it us because of her Thayer went through this nightmare in the first place, giving us NO negotiating rights-really! We need someone who's on out side period!!!!! She had nothing to do with DP changing his mind- NOTHING lets stay focus and unified-HaPPY NEW YEAR.....
