A beautiful and historic building like this needs to be utilised and open to the community.

Its a beautiful building in a small and lovely old market town and the planners should be doing all they can to maintain the beauty Ringwood has. I'm all for change but not at the expense of something --which restored-- would most certainly add to the wonder that is Ringwood!

I like real motion film, it is more interesting to watch than digital video.

Because whenever I see this building, I expect something to have been done about it. It's so prominent and so impressive. Well, I've been looking for more than a decade, increasingly flummoxed and annoyed, and now there is hope, and we don't want more shops at its expense.

Ringwood needs the Regal back. A wonderful site for a modern arts centre. Come on Local Government, give us back our Town Cinema, it's the perfect place!!!!! Long live the Regal!!!

Restoring the Regal is what this town needs. A perfect site for a modern arts centre. Let the people of Ringwood vote, on whether they'd like to see the Regal restored for US townsfolk, and the wider community!!! We want the Regal BACK!!!

I grew up in Ringwood and miss this beautiful market town and its community. The reason I signed the petition is because this historical building is part of Ringwood and should be restored back to its former glory. I often come back to see family and Ringwood is losing its identity. What has been allowed by the owners of this building is disgraceful. I genuinely hope some agreement can be made soon, but to demolish this historical part of Ringwoods heritage would be tragic

Ringwood really needs this facility which could be as successful as the Regent Centre,Christchurch, with films, live shows and broadcasts of opera, ballet and shows live from London.

It's high time this valuable site be put to use once again and what better than a cultural centre. We need to attract people to more than just the shopping possibilities.

Such a worthwhile project to save an historical building and bring life to the community.

I think this has been in this shocking state for most of my 45 years ! I'm a proud Ringwood lass and I'd love to come home to visit one day and see it restored to its former glory once and for all. My mum worked there when she was younger and I'm sure it would be a roaring success as a theater once more. Let's make this happen !

Ringwood is definitely big enough for a cinema. There are many people locally that would use it. It would bring trade into Ringwood from holiday makers as well.

It would be great to see this wonderful building brought back to its former glory. What an asset it would be to Ringwood. Somewhere for the young people to go, there is little entertainment for them in Ringwood. It would be well used by all age groups and a good attraction for holiday makers as well.

I think this would be a wonderful addition to Ringwood.

I am a professional musician and often work with my band in small theatres such as the Shelley in Boscombe and the Lyric at Bridport. I know from my contact with the management of these theatres what a struggle it is to raise enough money for refurbishment and running costs. With hard work from local people with the interests of Ringwood at heart reopening of this important building can be achieved.
