Well done Duncan. People Power. Why such a no brainer had to go public who knows. It's like the policy decision makers have had their heads in the sand since the drinking age was lowered and the effect of easy access of alcohol in our communities to minors has become obvious. Not many positives around our slack laws.

Thank you Duncan
I saw the action against the liquor shop on TV and just to let you know I am so proud of what you did. Could not attend the demo because I was busy but I was with you guys in spirit. I want to follow the progress of this great cause
Great work and keep it going

Thank you Duncan for standing up for our South Auckland community. We are already loaded with alcohol outlets that has been a major contributor to violence. It appears that it is a prunning andrecruiting agents to get more young people to get addicted to alcohol and so the conflict theory can go hand in hand with graduates coming out of uni and need some practical experience, south auckland supplies such cases, and the profit from alcohol goes back treating alcohol related illness in the hospitals plus deaths and accident related. In the end, there is no real benefit for our community. There should have been no alcohol outlets outside of a 5km school zone radius.

104 liquor stores in Mangere? That's disgusting and shameful statistic as I was born and bred in Mangere and had no idea it was that many!! Really hope we as a whole can stop this madness..

Thank you for giving the power of choice and mobilizing people in and out of our community. I had attended Te Kura Maori o Nga Tapuwae when it was once connected to Southern Cross Campus.

You would have to be a brainless idiot to let yet another booze shop open up near the Southern Cross Campus :( Good for you for going into bat for the school. Cheers Irene :)

Hi I would just like to say what you are trying to do for our kids is a good thing we need more people like Peter parussini in this country. Same one needs to standup for our kid to let them know we do care what goes on around them. Good on you mate.

Well done Duncan. Thanks for bringing these issues out in the open, I may not live in Mangere, but one day I or my family might. But more importantly we all need to care about the bigger issues affecting NZ. Keep up the good work!
