Why cant WE fly our flag? every other country does everywhere around the world there are flags flying we different we have a spineless government that won't stand up and say......
"Yes our forces past and present need to know we are proud of them we fly the flag for them!!".

Every town and village in foreign lands fly their countries flag and so should we. Even tiny villages up a Greek mountain fly their country's flag so why not us????

having just returned from France wher our flag is flown with pride and in great abundance publicly and in private gardens - along of course with flags of other nations

I find it appalling that the Dover Mayor and Council did not honour her dead on such an anniversary -shame on them all have they visited the war graves in France to see for themselves how emotional it is with rows and rows of headstones of those who died for them for their freedom if not I suggest they go take a look ---get rid of these people they do not deserve to represent the people of Dover or any where else for that matter FLY THE FLAG IN PERPETUITY

#28: -  The new leader of our council has decreed that the EU flag be flown from our civic buildings in BARKING ESSEX shame on them - they do not listen to the people - obviously we have objected but are dismissed by these bureaucrats - and they have their own personal way just because they think they have the power to do what they want - we want oput of EU and have told them so in our thousands  so to fly the flag is a real slap in the face - appalling -PATRIOT 1
