Witsies are tired of insufficient parking!

Are you tired of not finding parking? Are you tired of receiving fines when you park in an unallocated zone because there wasn't anywhere else to park? Missing your tuts and lectures? Lets stand together and make a difference. A plan needs to be made to make the parking more. Building is very expensive. We know that. That's what saving is for. There is a lot of money being made with students and staff paying for petrol. The excuse "parking staff need to be paid, maintanence... bla bla bla" yes, fine, there are expenses that need to be covered. However booms are not constantly being fixed, staff do not get paid that much (if only right?) which means that there should be money left. Where is the rest of the money going? That money should be going into savings for improvements on the parking. How long has parking been a problem? They knew long time ago that parking is and has been a problem yet they don't fix the problem? Some pay R700 a month, some pay R700 a year, some pay R150 a month maybe even R250 a month for parking. Even people just coming in to do drop offs pay for a parking ticket. They make us pay for a service that we don't even receive? I don't find that fair. They fine us but where do they expect us to park? If you are one that is tired of not finding parking, sign this petition so we can try make a difference.
