We the Swedish people's official apology to the people of Israel.

 

It is with shame we the Swedish people hereby, from the depths of our hearts, are forced to apologize to you for our governments unconsidered act to, without the mandate from the majority of the Swedish people, recognize the imaginary state of "palestine".

 

We can assure you that they have acted arbitrarily without the majority of the Swedish people's support or approval in this matter.

 

None of us could in our remotest imagination think that they were serious when they made this move official. We all were taken by surprise and we unfortunately didn’t have enough time to take countermeasures in time to stop this. But we’re now working hard to find all legal actions to reverse this shame full act. Hopefully sooner then later, at least at the next election we should be able to declare adoption this illegal.

 

We sincerely hope that you accept our apology, while we are working to find a way to restore your trust in us and that we can rebuild our earlier good relations between our people and our countries.
