Let AMC Know You've Been Wronged by Next Games

HAVE YOU BEEN WRONGED BY NEXT GAMES?

In 2014, AMC Networks, Inc. (AMCX) announced its partnership with young video game studio, Next Games Oy, to produce a mobile platform title based on the popular cable network/s blockbuster television series, The Walking Dead.  Next Games, headquartered in Finland with offices in Germany as well, released "The Walking Dead: No Man's Land" in October, 2015 as the official mobile game title of AMC Networks' The Walking Dead series. Shortly before launch, the two companies issued a joint statement to the press to announce the game, which is available for free download (with available in-app purchases) on iOS and most Android devices.

Throughout its relatively young existance in the realm of mobile app marketplaces, The Walking Dead: No Man's Land has undergone several updates to add new content, gameplay modes, features, and presumably oblige a number of parameters of Next Games' partnership agreement with AMC Networks. Unfortunately, in spite of these updates, Next Games has repeatedly established cause for the headaches, tensions, and increasing dissatisfaction that afflicts a significant portion of the TWD:NML playerbase. For the consumers within this group--those who have demonstrated faith in Next Games at one point or another by investing in in-app purchases intended to enhance the gaming experience--a high volume of recurring issues have led many perceiving their experience with Next Games and The Walking Dead: No Man's Land as frustrating, disappointing, and even fraudulent. Some of the most common issues are as follows:

  • Chronic malfunctioning of the product's mechanics, at times resulting in a player's loss of investments.
  • Abrupt and non-communicated feature alterations that divert the product from it's original functionality as represented to the consumer during the time of in-app purchases.
  • Languid (or completely absent in some cases) customer service.
  • Refusal to issue refunds.
  • Abrasive disinterest for resolving consumer complaints, demonstrated by Next Games employees responsible for the administration of the official online forum community for fans of The Walking Dead: No Man's Land.
