Stop the support of censorship in Irish Football
Petition the main sponsors of the Airtricity League against supporting an organisation, the FAI, who enforce censorship in 2016.
This petition is directly related to the disciplinary hearing against Roddy Collins by the FAI. In recent newspaper articles Roddy gave his opinion on the Airtricity League. He called the League of Ireland a shambles. He made reference to the good, honest people who work hard and volunteer in the league to try improve facilities and their ill treatment by the Irish football authorities.
For this he was hauled up to FAI head office for a disciplinary meeting with a panel made up of people associated to the very same FAI, a bias panel if you will!
Their findings were he had brought the Irish game into disrepute and was given a sanction of €1500 fine and a six game match ban from his managerial role at Waterford Utd FC.
On appeal it was turned down by the FAI as an administrative error occurred and a cheque for the €500 appeal fee was sent on rather than a bank draft.
We are appealing to all volunteers, supporters & lovers of Irish football to sign this petition. The only way the FAI might take note is if we hit them where they notice most, money talks!
