I am in opposition to 5his project especially the proposed warehouse. There are way to many warehouses being proposed for our area with many of the existing warehouses either vacant or not fully occupied. Stop these warehouses!!!

Please do not destroy this beautiful property. Schuylkill County needs to maintain the green space it has oppossed to selling out to another warehouse or commercial development company.

Corey Gipe (Pottsville, 2024-10-07)

Keep farmland here.

As more and more industrial sites are placed we as a community have the responsibility to protect what little land that remains. Grasslands and farm fields are not only important part of our ecosystem but really show the beauty of Pennsylvania. I believe building warehouses including other industrial sites on this land, will not only diminish surrounding properties values, but cause a decrease in community safety.

There are way too many warehouses in this area already. Too many truck and traffic problems. They are destroying wildlife and their environment.
We love to look at the farmlands and wildlife NOT MORE WAREHOUSES.

I live in North Manheim Township/Schuylkill County. These warehouses and garbage dumps need to go somewhere else. Schuylkill County is not a sacrifice zone of elderly and economically disadvantaged people who won't fight back. We need to preserve our farms and woodlands for both our local families and wildlife. Besides taking away precious natural areas, these types of structures impact our environment tremendously with pollution of all kinds (air, water, noise, light). It's not safe for us, our children, our pets, our woods, our streams, and our wildlife.

I live in the area where the warehouses will be built. The property value of my house will go down, tractor trailer traffic will cause pollution, noise issues, and damage to our roads. This could potentially affect my well water as well. The wildlife and farming will be affected.

Carol Heydt (Schuylkill Haven, 2024-10-07)

I grew up there!

It would cause too many traffic issues in an already dangerous area.

My family lives on the property next to where they want to build. There were corn fields and cows in that area for more than 67yrs. I spent much of my life playing in these fields. When the bridge was removed it changed a big portion of my memories visiting family. When we got to that bridge I knew the horn would soon be blowing to let my family know we were there. Some things need to be left alone. There are many other places they can build. Leave this area out of the business district. The impact to this area would be devastating. That road would need so much done to it to make it safe for the increase in traffic and large trucks to get through. Back in 1958 my great grandfather was struck and killed on that road near his home by someone speeding. I can't imagine the impact this would have on these families living along this quaint quiet road. Please reconsider and move this project elsewhere.

I do not live in PA, but spent a lot of time in this area as a child. I have close relatives that are going to be affected. The area is absolutely beautiful. Please leave it be for citizens to enjoy the area.

Friends and family are affected by this

I live right by this and will be able to see it out my back door where the beautiful farm land is. We have so much wildlife that will be forced out by this. Keep the farm lands alive ! No solar farms, no industrial buildings, no smog, no chemicals pumped into our air. We already have to do a turn around by our house due to the no turn left. This will cause a major back up after the light at the freeze.

Kelsey Steiner (Schuylkill Haven, 2024-10-07)

They don't make land anymore all this beautiful farm land is being over taken by companies or buildings that just sit empty. Not to mention people choice to live in these areas for the clean air, wildlife, and peaceful surrounding

It’s my backyard so many animals live here and it will be a shame they will be die cause someone is taking their homes and land away. The warehouse will bring more noise to my quite nice neighbor. Already lots of truck traffic on busy Highway 61 doesn’t need more traffic. My kids and neighbor kids love this farmland and our backyard to play. If they build this our backyard will be no more. And the noise will be unbearable in construction of the warehouse and even after. Please do not build this warehouse here.

Justin Snyder (Schuylkill Haven, 2024-10-07)

We have no need for any more farm land to be destroyed for a warehouse to be built and most likely sit empty like a large amount of them that have been built over the last few years.

Our ecosystem is already damaged from farming and I would like to see an ecological study that shows a warehouse wouldn’t damage it more!

I'm signing this Petition because this area is currently Agricultural and I feel there is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED FOR MORE LARGE WAREHOUSES!! Keep land developers out of N Manheim & surrounding Townships! Schuylkill County is all kinds of land changes but some of the tighter restrictions are being placed on private individuals who have owned their land for centuries! Unfair & only profitable to these large corporations. Restrictions the Developers!

I grew up in this beautiful area, the warehouses will destroy the area. Leave the area be, there are plenty of empty warehouses everywhere else use one of those.

Tori Faust (Mechanicsburg, 2024-10-07)

This is a decision being made with no regard towards the local population, the wildlife, or the environment and people can not stand by and let this happen.

Kevin Preston (Spring Lake Heights, 2024-10-07)
