Hi , am signing because student is allowed to work for 20 hours . And due to that we were able to earned extra expense because our uni fees comes from our home nation . But due to virus we are unable to work here we are jobless and unable to earn little expense like rent . We understand for you your nation is important. But we are also a people who came here for study . And according me you should also take care of us . Ae are not saying for that you also give us money . We just want to say that plz something do for us .like for not taking money from us for rent . So on .plz if u understand this situation take some action . Looking forward 😊 ( All students will be thankful to you.

Although my partner and I don't have PR, we are on the pathway to doing so, we have lived here for 5 years and our life is here. We intend to stay. We have financial uncertainty like many others and would like to feel that, for once, the Australian Govt is looking out for us too. We make active contribution to society by paying our taxes and through the work that we do. We are denied assistance with child support payments, have to pay 8% stamp duty if we want to buy a house, so our life is already on hold due to these restrictions. We don't know when the company my partner is sponsored with will be able to fund our PR application with the current situation, so this is all on hold and in the meantime so is our life.Sara Pearce (Sydney, 2020-03-27)
