(Wellington, 2022-05-31)

#1004

Enough of the duopoly and outrageous prices and trying to stop competitor supermarkets!

(Waikato, 2022-05-31)

#1006

NZ has room for another grocery company. We need competition. Your products are decent and loved by all who have visited stores in Australia.

(Rotorua, 2022-05-31)

(Tauranga, 2022-06-01)

#1020

I’m definitely signing I’ve been to Aldi stores in North Lakes Brisbane many times. My daughters full trolley for around $150 organic chicken and veg. I’m like a kid on a toy shop
Astonishing prices so much so felt like tipping out my clothes and bringing groceries back here. Come on nz sign this petition.

(Auckland, 2022-06-01)

We need ALDI in NZ for a different range of products and pricing. Plus the amazing centre aisle weekly promotion!

(Auckland, 2022-06-01)

#1023

We need more competition in NZ. The two major players are raking it in and it is all about the money, definitely not about the people.

(Auckland, 2022-06-01)

(Tauranga, 2022-06-01)

Just back from Australia and every small town has at least one Aldi. So good.

(Auckland, 2022-06-01)

#1027

It is time New Zealanders got a fair go with rising food costs . I lived in Australia until recently so know the difference Aldi can make to the budget .
The stores also grow quickly . They will pop up everywhere fairly fast

(Masterton, 2022-06-01)

(Wellington, 2022-06-01)

New Zealand Supermarkets are ripping us off and have had it too good for too long. Competition is what we need in NZ. I always shop ALDIS when in Queensland, Browns Plains, Australia. ALDIS should have been here 10 years ago. I will never shop anywhere else other than ALDIS if they come to NZ.

(Auckland, 2022-06-01)

#1033

(Ngāruawāhia, 2022-06-01)

Lack of competition means supermarkets are screwing down the small suppliers and lack of competition allows them to charge their customers more They are rorting both ends of the chain

(Hamilton, 2022-06-02)

#1094

I lived in Brisbane for 20yrs during which time Aldi entered supermarket monopoly. Took a little while to convert, eventually common sense prevailed plus raising 5 ngā tamariki. Great tasting, quality, affordable products. Returned Aotearoa permanently in 2017 adjusting to outrageous cost of living is out right robbery. BRING ON ALDI..!!

(Tauranga, 2022-06-02)

#1095

This would be a great idea for New Zealand

(Boronia heights, 2022-06-02)

#1097

Current grocery prices here in NZ is a great example of capitalism out of control! $1M profit per day is not ok. Change at a government level is needed to keep the duopoly in check.

#1191

I want more competition and Aldi is the best.

(Auckland, 2022-06-03)

#1192

Why a dairy country has the milk produce with such an expensive prices? Butter, cream, milk, all prices rose seriously. Of course I am not sure if we can bring in the competitor will get the same result or not, but at least, more supply with same demand, the price may eventually drop.

(Auckland, 2022-06-03)

#1193

I have used this in UK and it was fantastic. With the current cost of living in NZ this would make such a difference, even with 2 good salaries.
