Law should protect people if they feel not safe. We should live in a harmony society without brutal violence.

An unbelievable 16-year-old boy gets 6 teeth knocked out in the bus. Who’s supposed to be in charge of it? The transport department AT?or the bus driver ?is there no clear policy?or is there no one to enforce the policy?

I will stand up with the innocent kid. Not just for him but for all of Auckland community safety.

In addition, I hope to hold AT responsible, because passengers have formed a service relationship with AT, and they have an obligation to ensure the safety of passengers! But unfortunately their driver did not do so!

This is unacceptable in the community. Citizens no longer feel safe and no longer wanting to take the public transport due to this incident. This should not be happening at all. A person carrying dangerous weapons should not even been allowed to be in the bus, why would the bus driver allows this to happen knowing that it’s going to potentially harm the public safety?

I think public transport should install surveillance cameras, so when crime happens on the bus, it's easier to track and catch the criminal. I also believe the driver needs to take some responsibility, such as checking if the victim is okay or needs help to contact the police or ambulance service, especially if the offender has already left the bus.

When I was a teen 20years ago, I used to travel by bus and I can't stand and to concern about the safety of the kids under the current situation. 20 years ago I have to be extra cautious for my own safety because of racism and I can't believe with 20 years of development this could have happened.
