#657

To support a mother to have her sons memorial bench relocated to his home city

Margaret (Lisburn, 2024-07-05)

#659

I lost a family member and know how much it would mean to bring a family of loved one closer together. Allow this lady and family to feel comfort in the fact they are at rest in their home town and as much as this doesn’t mean much to some people you may understand when you have lost someone and they feel like they are on their own. I’m sure it will bring this lady much comfort.

Zena Foord (Lisburn, 2024-07-05)

#660

Knowing Alison and her family for many years and i know they are all Lisburn citizens for many generations and are a very well known and respected family! And after the loss they have endeavoured they deserve to be able too somewhere close by to mourn their son and feel him around them and other loved ones! What harm would it do allowing this if it can make a grieving family a little bit off happiness do the decent thing xx

Cathy Dowell (Lisburn, 2024-07-05)

#661

Robbie was a very close family friend and he deserves his bench to be in his home town!!

I'm sure it would be lovely for family and friends to have this so close to home.

Linzi Mccomb (Lisburn, 2024-07-06)

#665

Knew wee Robbie well and what a fun loving young man he was! His parents Alison & Vernon along with his brothers, son, extended family and friends should all be able too attend his place of remembrance in our home city to this family as Robbie wishes was to be cremated for them this is the same as attending a loved one’s grave! And to have him remembered alongside there other loved ones would be absolutely beautiful I fully support this family 💯 good luck to all the Fleming family 🙏❤️Xxxx

Abbey Leathem (Lisburn, 2024-07-06)

#670

It’s not a big ask! Help this grieving family get a little bit of comfort

Please do the decent thing and let this happen

Michael Riley (Moira, 2024-07-06)

#674

Young Robbie was a friend of my son and I also know his mum Alison and Dad Vernon they all Lisburn locals and a loving close family and this would really mean a lot to them a long with other family and friends to be able too get to visit his bench and being in Lisburn would make that more possible for everyone who knew and loved him. Good luck Alison I really hope you get your wish you deserve it so much love ❤️

Alison Graham (Lisburn, 2024-07-06)

Alison Dickson (Craigavon, 2024-07-08)

#707

I feel it will be more appreciated closer to the family.

Julie Reid (Lisburn, 2024-07-08)

#709

Have known Vernon most off my life and can confirm that him and his wife family are all Lisburn citizens who have been left badly impacted by the loss off their son and other loved ones since! This would mean so much to this family and as you can see from the pictures it will be very well maintained and will help improve the piece off land at Blairs cemetery where there sons bench definitely merits a place as he was a very well known and loved young man by the whole Lisburn community! I honestly don’t understand why anyone would question this to them this is like attending a loved ones grave I’m sure nobody who knows how the loss off such a close loved one would dispute this as you could not even bare to imagine being restricted from a loved ones resting place! Honestly Vernon I’m so sorry that you your wife and family have now been faced with this situation! I wish you all the luck in the world mate i really hope the people dealing with this see sense soon.

Andrew Carson (Lisburn, 2024-07-08)

I’m signing in support of Alison an Vernie a long with also there sons and grandson this is a very thought off local family and there late son who also was his death brought a whole community and beyond together i myself personally have never seen a death have such an impact on so many people! I can assure you everyone that knows this family will fully support that it definitely should be in Lisburn close to his other loved ones and would be able to let family and friends to be able too access it easier giving more time to attend!

Lynn Somerville (Lisburn, 2024-07-08)

#727

The council should show it has a heartbm6e

Robert A Logan (Lisburn, 2024-07-09)

#728

I feel robbiesseat should be moved nearer home.

#735

Hilary (Belfast, 2024-07-09)

#738

Know Alison and her family from I was child and know that they are a lovely family from Lisburn and there son was a beautiful very well thought of young man! Lisa Polly (Lisburn, 2024-07-09)

#740

I grew up with Alison and went through school together i know her whole family and how much this means to her, her husband and sons i believe there sons bench should be in Lisburn the home city of there whole family! I honestly dont understand why anyone would be against this please find a bit of compassion for this lovely woman and her family

Jackie (Lisburn, 2024-07-10)

#741

Played football with Robbie what an absolute legend! He is Lisburn born and bred and his bench should 100% be here for his family and friends to be able to get to more easily

Ryan Dodds (Lisburn, 2024-07-10)

Arlene Woods (Moira, 2024-07-10)

#752

Alison has lost her son. It is the least we can do as her community to support her in her wishes. Instead of causing her anymore pain could we instead afford her comfort and peace

Sandra Graham (HILLSBOROUGH, 2024-07-10)

#753

I'm signing because this family deserve to be together and have a place to remember their son beside their other loved ones.

Lots of other families will benefit from the bench being there too. Bring to sit and relax. Especially those with mobility issues

Amanda Johnston (LISBURN, 2024-07-10)

#756

Robbie and his family are all very well known Lisburn locals and it’s only right that they have it in Lisburn! And i know that Robbie would want whatever gives his parents brothers and son comfort and peace

Brian Lavery (Lisburn, 2024-07-10)

#757

I feel this is a good cause and should be honoured.

Natasha (Lisburn, 2024-07-10)

#760

I’m signing because I believe this memorial bench for Robbie Fleming should be relocated to Blaris given the fact that Lisburn is his home town. Also due to the fact there is now a space left beside loved family members graves it makes perfect sense to have this moved nearby so that the family can visit their loved ones and have this lovely memorial nearby.

Lisa Dougherty (Lisburn, 2024-07-10)

#766

It is a good and true cause

Aaron Nokes (Belfast, 2024-07-11)

#768

Know Alison whole family all my life and I can say like many others they are a very well respected family in Lisburn where they were born and raised Alison and Vernon have already and still are suffering enough what harm would this do letting there sons bench be local and beside other loved ones have a heart

Sandra Greer (Lisburn, 2024-07-11)

#769

This is a good cause and i agree with the mothers request

Vivene Kelly (Lisburn, 2024-07-11)

Paul Gordon (Lisburn, 2024-07-11)

#779

I agree that the memorial bench means so much to the family and it is not a big ask for it to go to the appropriate cemetery.

Gerard Colgan (Belfast, 2024-07-11)

#780

Know Alison and her whole family and like other people have stated they are a well known and respected family from Lisburn as was their son you only had to take a look at the send off he had he done something lots off people couldn’t do he brought a whole community together and I agree with Alison an Vernon that his bench should be in our home city

Marion (2024-07-11)
