I'm signing this petition because I want social development hire all social workers in KZN since the department awarded some students with schoolarship if they have problem according to finance must stop granting the students with a schoolarship and close social work course in universities for 5years or above in order to make sure that all graduate social workers are placed to different organisations.Department hire some social workers for the contract of 3 month as social worker grade one but they paid less than the grade. The contract terminated so badly they never gave us a termination letter to sign that will show us that contract is not reweable.So please if possible we berg changes towards department we are hungry as well as our families.

Having completed a degree which is highly needed and would benefit the community but noone recognises that is sad. A lot of social ills are happening in our communities, Yet our government seems to not notice that employing social workers would be a solution to all that.

Our profession is degraded, we spent four years behind the desk just like other professions but Social Workers pay scale is way less than others.

Social Workers are also human. we have needs, responsibilities but we are unable to care for them while unemployed.
