I regularly assist Bar certified lawyers in the state of Florida with remaining compliant and following the strictures of the Florida Bar. So I’m fairly familiar with said rules and regulations concerning how attorneys licensed to practice law in the state of Florida should behave. I have honestly been appalled with some of the statements made and the behavior of the person this petition is about, Mr. Matthew Gaetz. He has made me lose faith that the Florida Bar association can even enforce their own guidelines on what is and is not appropriate For their members to do. Have you ever read the rules on advertising and how arcane, byzantine and nonsensical they seem? Why should anyone follow seemingly blaise rules regarding advertising when the serious rules are so easily and capriciously Flontat by people like Matt Gaetz? It makes one lose faith in the law and those who administer it and for that, he should be disbarred.
