I want to preserve our beautiful landscape. We don't need anymore warehouses in this area. Not all land needs to be developed and ruined by ugly warehouses and corporate buildings. Leave the countryside alone.Dave Osatchuck (Schuylkill Haven, 2024-10-08)

61 is already a death trap and with more traffic with industry it will be horrific.Janelle Hooper (Pottsville, 2024-10-09)

The warehouses are an eyesore and the traffic will become even more unbearable. Farmland is much cleaner!John Campomizzi (Orwigsburg, 2024-10-09)

The attraction to our area lies in the natural beauty of the hometown we live in, the absence of noise pollution and big city traffic chaos. The people that choose to live in this area typically do because family and small town feel is what they desire. If you take that away by removing natural beauty and replacing it with concrete views, our people and the wildlife that call this place home will become the place where the only green to be seen will be lining the pockets of developers.Rhonda Thompson (Schuykl Havn, 2024-10-09)

We’re losing all our farm country to all these buildings. Keep it in the industrial parks, not in our little towns.Terri Connors (ORWIGSBURG, 2024-10-09)

Nearby resident, do not want the increase in traffic, noise, and pollution. Concerns with roadway safety at an already dangerous intersection on Route 61. Also increased need for equipment, training, and strain on local fire companies, who are all volunteer, for increased emergency response.Tara Thomas (Landingville, 2024-10-09)
#444
There are too many warehouses and route 61 in both directions is bad already. Don't need more warehousesDeb Foose (Schuylkill Haven, 2024-10-09)

Do not destroy the beautiful land we have and grew up around for more commercialized nonsense that we have enough of. We do not need more warehouses, dollar generals, gas stations or anything of the sort. If anything, let's help keep farming in our area alive, or if anything, leave the land untouched.Stephanie Hillbish (Saint Clair, 2024-10-09)

We have more than our quota of properties being built up with warehouses, solar panels and landfills in our area. We have beautiful land that is being swallowed up by this. Our wildlife is losing their habitat and those of us who enjoy the peace and clean land are losing our minds. STOP THE DESTRUCTION OF SCHUYLKILL AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES!!Lucy Rumberger (Schuylkill HAVEN, 2024-10-09)

I am signing for many reasons. Our local fire dept police dept are small they can not handle . We are concerned about the crime that could come in our area. We are concerned about our homes losing value. We are concerned about the added traffic on already heavily traffic roads.Sheila Gilfillan (Schuykl Havn, 2024-10-09)

Rezoning to build large warehouses will destroy the beautiful land and scenery in Schuylkill Haven! All of the beautiful wildlife will be gone, the traffic will be horrendous as will the noise! The property values will decrease as will the dirt and pollution!Jessi Skelton (Schuylkill Haven, 2024-10-10)

I am downstream from proposed development and we already have flooding issues when it rains hard this would cause more runoff and more floodingBrian Trumbo (Landingville, 2024-10-10)

I moved to this area because it’s a quiet, serene place where the deer, bears and foxes live. I would not support big business taking away their habitat.Jerry Rumbel (New Ringgold, 2024-10-10)

I'm signing because I do not want a warehouse on the local farmland. It will increase traffic and draw more people into these small towns.Jessica Tarleton (Landingville, 2024-10-10)
#487
We have enough traffic on Landingville that doesn't follow the speed limit and roads are already full of potholes. We don't need extra vehicles and tractor trailers causing more damage to the roads and extra traffic.Felicia Winters (Landingville, 2024-10-11)

I live in north manheim township and don't agree with putting a warehouse in.Lisa Bensinger (Pottsville, 2024-10-11)

I live in the township… I don’t want the traffic of tractor trailers nor anything that comes with the warehouses when there are others sitting empty. It’s absolutely ridiculous when there are ones in the Hamburg area sitting empty.Robyn Koch (Schuylkill Haven, 2024-10-11)

I understand the damage large development creates with traffic. A lot of accidents will occur while construction starts and won’t end as more tractor trailers will be traveling on smaller roadways.Brian Fatzinger (Allentown, 2024-10-14)

This is getting way out of hand with these warehouse in our communities. Stop it now they can build on highrigde or somewhere out of our townsMark Marks (Schuykl Havn, 2024-10-15)

Because there are enough warehouses in this county and the counties surrounding Schuylkill County, we don’t need anymoreEvelyn Richards (Cressona, 2024-10-15)

I used to live on adamsdale road adjacent to the properties in this petition. Construction of these warehouse(s) will add tremendous noise, pollution, traffic and have tremendous impacts to the wildlife that utilize this space. Wildlife displacement will cause more human-wildlife conflicts including car accidents. Once built, these warehouses will stress current residents and infrastructure which require funds to maintain. Does that mean higher taxes to an already inflated economy? When I first moved to Adamsdale, we moved for the openness and serenity that a rural area provides. Now this too will be converted. I'm sure there are plenty of abandoned lots already zoned properly. Where does it end?Nicholas Schneck (Pottstown, 2024-10-15)

We are already losing too much of our farmland in the state. This land is zoned for Agriculture, not Industry or commercial use.Dennis Deibert (North Manheim Twp, 2024-10-18)

#543
There are already numerous warehouses available for lease within a 30 minute drive. If we continue to develop fertile land at this rate, what will be left to farm? Developing land that is already zoned industrial is one thing. Changing zoning to develop even more defeats the point of zoning in the first place.J.A. Stein (Orwigsburg, 2024-10-28)

We have enough EMPTY warehouses in Berks and Schuylkill counties. No reason to build more. The amount of ground cover these buildings take up have changed the ground water in Lehigh Valley.Heather Berger (Pottsville, 2024-10-29)

I have lived in my home for over forty years. This is a peaceful somewhat quiet area. The traffic on Adamsdale Rd is already heavy making it nearly impossible for even getting out of driveway. The additional truck traffic no matter how it is proposed to be controlled would be unbearable. I personally enjoy the wildlife that would be indangered. The worst part of this is the GREED of one person to change the lives of so many here. We all have invested money and effort in our properties only to have one family profit. It is my understanding that many of these buildings stand empty. Just take a ride down 78 and see what it would look like here. No major jobs would come to tha community. Residental development may be a better. Not. this proposalCarol Bates (Schuylkill Haven, 2024-11-08)

I'm signing because I care for the lives of the people who will be displaced and for those who will be subjected to environmental hazards that will result, namely air pollution, excessive noise, increased traffic, and a dramatic change in the basic way of life that this small community has developed over many years.Mary Shaw (Audubon,, 2024-11-08)

I am aware of this rezoning initiative. I reject any proposal of any sort that supports this. This change brings devastation to our pristine landscape, it brings vulnerability to our tributary waterways and it would encroach on our cultural resources as this proposed area of rezoning has been recognize as indigenous lands of the Leni Lenape Indian tribe in the Schuylkill river valley. The immediate area has been recognized by many local residents and noted in historical record as nomadic lands. Abundant relics have been located along this traverse, even to this day. The greed of few at the expense of many will not be tolerated. I will not support this zoning change.Jeffrey Troch (Schuylkill Haven, 2024-11-12)

I grew up on Adamsdale Road. I still live in this community. My Mother still lives in that same house on acreage that the home stands. There is wild life all around this area. I feel that we must preserve this nature habitat for the wild life. This proposed project will destroy the beauty and habitat of this area. We moved to this area @ 50 years ago to escape the development in the city. The commercial development of this area will destroy what we have grown to love.Richard Bates (Schuylkill Haven, 2024-11-12)
