I’m signing this petition because I’m sick and tired of constantly sitting without power/electricity for 35+ hours on a regular basis because of power failures in the area. When we report these issues we are just told that the overtime capacity have been reached and that we will have to wait for the next business day.We have had to throw out a lot of food that have gone bad since our freezers have gone warm.
What about the pensioners who could not afford to throw out their food and then afford to buy new ones just because of other people???

Abrupt and out of control excessive outages. Time to repair as well takes for ever. At times if outage occur after hours/weekend, will be told that overtime has been exhausted and therefore must wait for shift start. As a retiree after 40 years, it was my intention to live peacefully at this up market retirement estate. I am now unable to walk unassisted. especially in pitch dark areas with my walking stick like a visually impaired person, trying to find my house in the dark, trying to hear familiar sounds! This is a very dangerous situation after leaving Flavor restaurant on an uneven pathway. It is not a pleasure to live here anymore in these dire situations without the most basic utilities like water and electricity! I have fallen in the dark house many times and have already had a total hip replacement in the past.
