I am signing because it is too far to travel to another branch. It is incomprehensible for you to expect clients to travel two hours to another branch.Cheryl Sharpe (Moser River, 2022-02-05)

This is my hometown. I understand the pandemic has hurt us all. But this rural community needs this bank.Robyn Publicover (Dartmouth, 2022-02-05)

This is the bank I deal with daily. Also the bank my grandparents would have used back in the day.
Loyalty matters to my family, but apparently not the the big corporation!

My husband and I still bank with the Sheet Harbour Branch. We hold our accounts there as well as use the physical branch often during our visits to Sheet Harbour. My parents, in-laws, sister, and extended family rely on this bank for everyday use. Please keep it in the community.Dawn Parks (Fall Rivee, 2022-02-07)

Scotiabank should be ashamed of their service to rural Nova Scotia. If I stay with Scotiabank and live in the catchment area of Sheet Harbour I need to drive a minimum of 1hour and 15 minutes to get in person bank service at one location If I live in most metro locations I can receive in person service within 5-15 minutes and can do it in multiple locations. This is urban elitism at its best. Shame on ScotiabankSheila Martin (Sheet Harbour, 2022-04-03)

I'm signing because I am tired of large corporations abandoning the generation of people who built their business just because they cannot participate digitally. I encourage all of us who grew up in the Sheet Harbour area not only to sign this petition but to make sure to let Scotiabank know that their action in this matter will have far reaching consequences when it comes to our own business dealings with Scotiabank wherever we live across the country. Scotiabank, I think your quarterly earnings statements are proof that you can afford to keep this much needed branch open without blinking an eye. I know you can afford it. Do the right thing! Youhave always tried to convince us what a great corporate citizen you are. Its time to prove it!
