I know this family well and fully understand there reasons this family and community have been greatly affected by the loss off young Robert, the family have also suffered multiple losses since Robert off there father, Grandson, Nephew and Alison mother is now also terminally ill at least having Robert’s bench in Lisburn close by there other loved ones would ease the burden and give them a little bit of comfort.Mrs Mcniece (Lisburn, 2024-06-21)

This family are all born and raised in Lisburn and deserve to have their sons bench here! It’s a disgrace that they can’t yet people not even born in our country can use our land to bury their loved ones no disrespect whatsoever but if people aren’t born here when they pass should be returned to their country and use their land to bury them or made be cremated and put in their family homes etc…we wouldn’t be allowed to use another country land if were to die there! I completely understand everything this family is asking for it’s not a lot to ask! Do the decent thing and let them have a place to remember their son where he was born and raised.Stevie (Lisburn, 2024-06-21)

Robbie was a friend and his family deserve a little peace they have been put through so much even just after Robbie passed the toxic trolls on social media who didn’t want to know him in life which everyone who knows them is true! They put this family through so much pain and suffering to the point of where his mother became so ill what this lovely family has endured is horrific and definitely deserve a little bit off happiness!!!!Lauren Hull (Lisburn, 2024-06-21)

I'm signing this petition because I have known the family for many years and they have suffered more than enough and Robbie is their precious son whose simple relocation of his memorial bench to Lisburn will provide all of the family some very much deserved easing of their pain knowing their son is closer to home than at roselawnMark Phillips (Lisburn, 2024-06-22)

I have known Alison my whole life and know how much this would mean to her Robert was more than just a son he was her life yes Alison was young when she became a mother to Robert and a fantastic one at that she has knew nothing most her life other than having him by her side! Alisons whole family are very well respected locals off Lisburn who go back generations known originally as Allen they go back to great great grandparents as Lisburn natives you would find it hard to find someone who doesn’t know off the Allen family from Lisburn and to ask to have her sons bench in this town/city should not even be questioned i personally think it merits a place!!!Amanda Johnston (Lisburn, 2024-06-22)
