I love in Lusk and have been unable to get a crèche place for my daughter. We badly need another crèche in Lusk to accommodate the demand from young families living in the area.Aoife Blair (Lusk, 2023-05-15)

The area baldy need to the original plan of a crèche to be adhered to.Keith Nevin (Dublin, 2023-05-15)

Developers are consistently getting planning permission for new housing estates with a crèche as part of the overall development, but then they subsequently apply to remove the crèche in lieu of houses. This happened in Lusk Village Estate, The Forge, Lusk Village Quarter and now Raheny Park. The residents of Lusk deserve basic amenities such as childcare facilities and playground.Karla Piner (Lusk, 2023-05-15)

More childcare facilities are badly needed in Lusk. The builders make promises and fingal county councils allows them to revoke these.Elaine mulvaney (Dublin, 2023-05-15)

In Lusk we need this facility, as we were promised it when they needed our support to build houses . They have gone back on their word.Patricia Daly (Dublin, 2023-05-15)

I’m signing because I’m sick of seeing amended planning permission notices from developers trying to change the original plans to benefit themselves. The level of greed from these developers never fails to surprise me. The above developer never took ownership of leaving every house in Lusk Village needing remediation and they continue to ram more and more houses into smaller spaces with no amenities for the residents. They should be held to account.Joann Kelly (Lusk, 2023-05-15)
#222
I’m signing this because there is a severe lack of these type of services in the Lusk/Rush area even at the moment before hundreds more houses are built and the population increases significantly! It is an absolute disgrace that the developers would even think to do this…..it is pure GREED….without regard for the people who will be purchasing their houses and making them very rich people 😡😡Anne Marie Leonard (Dublin, 2023-05-16)
#224
Public amenities are just as important if not more important than more houses and profitsFiona OBrien (Dublin, 2023-05-16)
#226
Developers have constantly promised the sun moon and stars but have delivered very little of their promises to Lusk, no more houses we need facilities asap.David Walker (Dublin, 2023-05-16)

Lusk village estate is still waiting for the creche to be built after 20 years, and we have a shortage of creche places in lusk. So this is neededAine Conneff (Dublin, 2023-05-16)

Development in Lusk started 2000 & Lusk Village development was one of three large estates built. Launche Day brochure & Site Plan has "site for future creche" but labourer told us not to plan on it ever getting built as they always end up with townhouse or apartment on the site. Plans submitted many years after for a facilty clearly mismatching site size & space. Site being used for Pyrite Remediation by PRB Contractors Cumnor. Our son is now 19 & in college. Same.Developer now wants to remove Creche from one of his many current developments being built in Lusk whilst the new families moving into these houses have no creche facilities with a 1 to 2 year wait. Fingal County Council need to start working for the residents of Fingal rather than DevelopersDamien McGettrick (Lusk, 2023-05-16)

There are waiting lists in every creche in lusk.. follow through promises.. the village has furnished you with massive gains for years.. Time to give a little back..Mike o'donnell (Dublin, 2023-05-16)

Lusk is very poorly served by infrastructure and Fingal have been very slow to do anything about itColm Ó Donnchadha (Lusk, 2023-05-16)
#235
Creche is neededPaul Girvin (Dublin, 2023-05-16)

We have significant shortage of creche places in Lusk. It can't be allowed for another estate to be finalized without childcare facility. I hope decision makers will make the right call on that.Renata Moore (Lusk, 2023-05-16)
#240
I'm signing because important services are not being provided as part of the growth of Lusk. I consider creches important and a necessary service.Maureen Gaffney (Dublin, 2023-05-16)
#241
There are no available creche places in luskAnne Smithers (Lusk, 2023-05-16)
#242
This creche is an necessity for a growing population of Lusk, Fingal have given planning permission to way to many homes without the services and this one service must remain.Christine Kialka (Lusk, 2023-05-16)
#243
I’m signing this petition because more Crèches are needed in Lusk as well as other facilities, the population is growing and we don’t have enough amenities to cater for the people here.Frances Byrne (Dublin, 2023-05-16)
#244
Lusk is in great need of creche services and has enough housingRobert Byrne (Dublin, 2023-05-17)
#245
There is an excessive amount of development by McGarrell Reilly for a number of years and still not enough services to cope with the new houses being built. Removing a Creche to accommodate more homes is completely wrong for Lusk and needs to be protected at all costGavin Brady (Dublin, 2023-05-17)

Young families need childcareMore houses needs more facilities not less
Maria Greene (Lusk, 2023-05-17)

We need more infrastructure to keep up with the population of lusk we need the plants to go ahead for what we were promisedJosh Casey (Dublin, 2023-05-17)

There is a lack of facilities in Lusk and crèches are desperately needed.Suzanna Doughty (Lusk, 2023-05-17)
#253
I disagree with changing the original plan as the community needs services more than it needs more houses. This application prioritises the developers needs over the community and demonstrates a complete lack of concern for families and the wider community. A functioning community requires more than just housing.William Walsh (Lusk, 2023-05-17)
#259
There is a chronic lack of facilities in Lusk. Happy that our community is growing but we cannot continue to allow developers build housing here without providing facilities to support the families that will be moving in.Graham Gallagher (Lusk, 2023-05-18)
#260
I agree with the above and know personally of a number of families struggling to get childcare sorted for their children. Has been an issue since I had my own kids in childcare and much worse now with all the developments in the area.Colm Moore (Lusk, 2023-05-18)
#261
I live in the area and, while I don't have children, I appreciate the need for this kind of facilities.Piotr Kluj (Lusk, 2023-05-18)
#262
We are chronically lacking many resources for the a town the size of Lusk. Developers have a responsibility for the communities that they buildDylan Brereton (Dublin, 2023-05-18)
#263
I’m signing because the town is in drastic need of creche facilities for the ever growing population. This removal of a creche from the initial plan would follow exactly what happened with the Lusk Village development, under the same developerDavid Mooney (Dublin, 2023-05-18)
#267
I’m sick of these builders doing what they want when they want especially after the pyrite problems they caused !!Kevin Brogan (Lusk, 2023-05-18)
#268
There is a chronic shortage of community facilities in the Lusk area. From creches to sport and recreation facilities, even restaurants and community social facilities. It is not right for developers to be able to keep building more and more houses without adequate facilities for the existing and new members of the communityMick McCarthy (Lusk, 2023-05-18)
#274
Facilities are services are desperately needed in Lusk as its population grows. Early childhood care is a vital part of this. People in Lusk are already struggling to find childcare and education for their children and more houses only makes this more difficult. This makes a creche an indispensable service that cannot be jettisoned. To do so is nothing more than greed and opportunism on the part of the McGarrell Reilly Group at the expense of the people and children of Lusk.

The developers must do what they have promised.David Cherpillod (Lusk, 2023-05-19)
#296
I am glad for lusk to grow however I do think more infrastructure such as crèche social sports club s and road upgrades are much needed before anymore housing development can proceedPaul Mulready (Dublin, 2023-05-21)
#297
More creches needed in LuskRobbie Byrne (Dublin, 2023-05-22)

It's disgraceful that families have to go to neighbouring towns to find childcareIt's awful that these developers are not having to follow through on their requirements

I am signing because I live in this development in Lusk and they need to stick to the first planning where all new families would benefit from a creche/school rather than more housingAni Shabanaj (Lusk, 2023-06-12)
#313
I am signing as I think we need facilities such as creches to support the housingSeamus Flynn (Lusk, 2023-06-13)
