The Rototuna North area is getting dangerous with the amount of traffic and limited ways for that traffic to get out of the area. Every month I’ve noticed more cars and I’m increasingly concerned for the safety of the students who attend the schools in the area.Karen Langley (Hamilton, 2021-04-09)

I live in this area and this extension would relieve much congestion. The streets around the schools & surrounding streets are becoming increasingly dangerous for students travelling to school with the volume of traffic & limited entry exit points in the area.Raelene Ellis (Hamilton , 2021-04-09)

I have a child at RHS and on days when I need to drop off, the traffic is unbelievable. The junior school is getting an extension, and with a yet to be completed residential area and retirement village in the area, getting in and out of the area will no doubt become worse.Selina Gulliver (Hamilton, 2021-04-09)

Because Hamilton roads are always upgraded for yesterday and not the future. If we wait, the new road will already be at capacity at opening time. More traffic in the area is more dangerous towards kids. And should reflect the govts road s to zero policy.Craig Packard (Hamilton , 2021-04-10)

I support this petition as there are already major issues with traffic volumes with the current population in this area. The increase in high density housing is only making this worse and I believe has not been considered by the council in their proposal to delay this project. This was originally planned to be completed by this year.Carolyn Armstrong (Hamilton, 2021-04-10)

The current situation is poor having to run a maze of local roads instead of following g the obvious connection of both ends of botanical road. It makes no sense to not connect these ends togetherHadrian Haine (Hamilton , 2021-04-10)

Access to RHS & Summerset at school pick up tines is atrocious. Poor planning for such a large school to have su h restricted access. With the vast number of new homes being currently constructed along Kimbrae Drive it's only going to get worse. Anything that helps divert traffic & help it flow smoother is a good idea.Michelle Dennison (Hamilton, 2021-04-11)

As it is a great opportunity to help with congestion in our rapidly growing areaMATT LAHANA (Hamilton, 2021-04-11)

This road is imperative to be completed ASAP. The roads are congested. An accident is waiting to happen. Access in and out of Kimbrae Drive is also a big problem, the school access is poorly designed.Dorothy Oliver (Hamilton, 2021-04-11)
