We do not need solar farms creating tonnes of EMF radiation. Electricity can be, and is, made for FREE and you know it! Stop destroying the countryside.Lynn Ferguson (Lichfield, 2024-10-01)

Having visited the gardens this site is a haven for wildlife and demonstrates lots of methods of 'green' gardening for amateurs and professionals. The knowledge imparted will influence future generations about growing produce and plants. To lose this would be a backward step in the education about renewablesKathryn Merrin (Tonbridge, 2024-10-03)

Whilst renewable energy is vital to the UKs energy security, huge solar farms are NOT the answer. We need food security as well - taking areas of agricultural land is not helping this. Why are we not investing in tidal, wave, and hydro-electric power generationMark Humphryes (Swineshead, BOSTON, 2024-10-04)

It seems unfair that this long-established and successful business should be forced to close. Solar panels are great but belong on buildings, not in fields. Every new build should have solar panels and this should be enshrined in law as it is in other European countries.Nicky Vernon (Frittenden, 2024-10-13)

I’m signing because there must be alternative sites for a solar farm rather than destroying a wonderful garden that has been there for many years. Geoff Hamilton great work would be in vain.Stephen Michael Pothecary (FAREHAM, 2024-10-17)

I love this place and would be devastated to see it potentially harmed and even worse, closed. It does such a lot of good work and helps people find peace, harmony and the meaning of life!Anne Roberts (Leicester, 2024-11-08)

Barnsdale is a beautiful place and its survival depends on the business that supports it. Visitors will be discouraged from visiting if the solar farm is located so close.Richard Thomson (Ipswich, 2024-11-10)
