I am signing this petition for Cwewe, a brave young woman who has allegedly been violated by the very person who was supposed to protect and guide her—her school principal. This tragedy is not just Cwewe’s fight; it’s a fight for every woman, every girl, and every person who deserves to live without fear of violence or abuse.

What happened to Cwewe could happen to any of us, and that is what deeply concerns me. She is someone’s daughter, someone’s sister, and she could easily be my own sister. It’s a terrifying thought, but it’s also a reality we must face: no one is immune to the horrors of assault, and the people who should be the most trusted are often the ones who betray that trust.

This is why I am speaking out. I refuse to be silent when injustice happens. No one, regardless of their position of power, should feel entitled to take advantage of another person’s body. We cannot allow this behavior to continue or for any other woman or girl to experience what Cwewe endured.

We must demand that justice is served, and the principal must be held accountable. This has to stop—because we are all human, and we deserve to live with dignity, respect, and safety. No one should have to live in fear of someone they should be able to trust.
