I'm singing because too much has been demanded of us. I have just become a dad, my son was born with a hearing loss. I need to be the best dad for him and not lose my mind, feel on edge the entire time I am outside, feeling like a criminal for taking a walk with my family. I am tired of sacrificing our happiness, prosperity, health and mental wellbeing to live my life like a prisoner to save someone somewhere who might not even want to be saved

Impacts on lockdown have breached so many Human Rights and it has to stop NOW. I work for the NHS first I worked at Royal Blackburn Hospital and now I work at Burnley General Hospital and have worked in various departments over my 10 years of service and never have I witnessed such corruption and violation of our basic rights as humans. At present there are 297 inpatients with covid-19 that’s in the whole of East Lancashire so out of 371,443 people 297 patients are in hospital, please bear in mind that these patients are also categorised from 1-4, 1 and 2 being the low risk, category 3 being highly suspicious and category 4 being positive. Regardless of category’s these patients are being swabbed on admission meaning they could be coming in with Abdominal pain for example so they might swab positive but not be poorly with it so really these numbers only tell you a story from a numerical prospective and not a factual prospective.
Year upon year there is always a “crisis” in the NHS especially at this time of year and please may I add that the hospitals are always struggling regardless of coronavirus. I used to work on Accident and Emergency and the department was always FULL to capacity at any given time from October through to March which we call winter pressures. There were many occasions where by the hospital was so full patients who were awaiting transfers to wards would sadly die on the corridors of a and e and this was 3 years ago, many patients were of old age but respiratory illnesses at this time of year are rife and were always a cause for concern to lack of capacity within the department.
The science and the official figures are there for us all to see, now I am no doctor but the coronavirus has not even killed 1% of the UK’s population. People who have died globally (not just the U.K) have had Covid-19 placed on their death certificates when this might not of been the actual cause of death. This in itself is bizarre and needs investigating as someone who may have been terminally ill from cancer for example would have died from cancer NOT covid, therefore this falsifies figures and statistics leading to unnecessary panic, fear mongering and lockdowns.
Although I am fighting to have these lockdowns abolished I am not saying that covid isn’t real but the bad has been outweighing the good now for an extremely long time. On the 1st October Macmillan stated that “ 50,000 people are now missing diagnoses” , out of how many of these people will now be so far advanced with their cancer they won’t make it, how many people could have been saved if lockdowns weren’t a thing? It is a sad thing that people die but millions and millions of people die every single year and we are so focused on saving those with covid we are forgetting about the bigger picture.
The driving force of all this is the save the NHS but what about when It gets so overwhelmed with mental health patients, people with other lifelong conditions that are getting worse because they are unable to access the NHS freely I’m sorry but I just don’t see how this is helping and the situation is getting worse day by day.
There are people in this country that have gone along with everything the government has asked of them including following their strict guidelines. Businesses have gone out and spent millions on making their businesses covid secure and putting things in place to allow them to open and to still trade effectively. Business’s are closing all over the country meaning that they won’t be able to pay for their mortgages, bills and other things that they need to survive, in my eyes a business that might be essential to you might not be essential for me and vice versa meaning that all businesses are essential to someone. With this in mind what about all the mental health issues that will arise from all these business closures, for example I go to the hair dressers for a catch up and to relieve the stress of my working and home life which enables me to have essential down time. This is the same for many people who access beauty or holistic therapies including nail salons etc and it is not just about looking better it is about going to see someone on a regular basis for a chat (therapy in a way), to de-stress and to feel better in your own body, this also applies to gyms that we so desperately need for mental health , to combat obesity and to increase peoples fitness and wellbeing.
I have two children one of which will be sitting her G.C.S.E’s next year and they have now missed out on nearly a year of education!!! My youngest daughter is dyslexic and her concentration span isn’t the greatest and to say she is unsettled is an understatement. There was no transition period into secondary school and they are now all in year bubbles segregated away from other year groups, this is not good enough as they need to be interacting with peers of different ages and I believe this contributes to better communication when leaving school and going into the big wide world and the fact that private schools will be allowed to sit their exams but public funded schools with now says it all.
All educational school trips have been cancelled and all out of school activities have also been cancelled including Sea Cadets, Brownies, Guides, Scouts and various other youth groups. I feel that mental health is deteriorating at a rapid rate for children and wearing facemasks and social distancing goes against everything that humans are meant to be. Children should be able to hug, kiss and play with their peers without the fear of someone judging them or not being able to comfort them in times of distress and this is the same for patients visiting their relatives in hospitals and care homes, what is happening to this country is barbaric to say the least and I’m ashamed to be British.
I’m still shocked and in dismay that all social services teams across the Country have stopped home visits for all the vulnerable young children, teens and adults. People have been locked up with their abusers for nearly a year and with no one to turn to, these people are so scared to pick up a phone and even to talk someone about their problems and issues and where are the people that trained to care for them talking to them via zoom whilst their abuser sits in a corner watching their every move?.
The British Medical Association has stated that there has been a rise of 1493% in 1 month in comparison to the last 3 years and are calling this a “silent pandemic”. What on earth are we doing to a once great country and were has the Great British spirit gone. I myself have never had any mental health issues and I feel if these lockdowns continue I don’t know how long I can remain strong it’s only through the love and support of my friends and family that is keeping me going, but what about those who have lost everything their whole lifes work, savings and businesses and only see suicide as a last resort because they have lost everything.
If the masks worked why not allow people in hospitals to see their relatives who are longing for human contact, why are we not allowed to see our elderly relatives in care homes and since when did this become the right thing to do to another human being. It’s an outrage!!!
The repercussions of this entire farce will be seen for years and years to come and our children’s children will be paying for this atrocity too. I fear for the next generation and I hope that this ends soon. Shame on the government for continuing the hurt, anguish and fear mongering of this country for so long!!!

I am disgusted by these advertisements which are blatant scaremongering and factually incorrect. The advert which states ‘if you flout the rules, people will die’ is a disgraceful message on the radio advert which will have detrimental effects on the young children listening and their mental health. Insinuating to a child that they could personally be responsible for somebody’s death is a foul, inhuman, unthinkable act of scaremongering and there is no evidence to support the things that they are claiming such as ‘if you use a trolley in a supermarket it is highly likely that somebody with covid has used it before you’ this is a blatant lie and misrepresentation of facts.

The whole 'plandemic' has been a farse. The lockdowns and restrictions have had a massive negative impact on our mental health as well as the destruction of our economy which will take years to recover if it ever does.

The figures provided by our government and NHS do not add up and the amount of actual covid deaths is pale in comparison to the health problems the lockdowns are causing through stress or missed/non appointments.
