I’m signing this petition because too many women are been murdered by convicted abusers.Helen McEntee as MoJ claimed to be advocating for VAWG to be taken seriously.
She decided while in situ to not introduce any adequate mandatory sentencing. She decided to do nothing about guardians of child having control of their children even while they have killed the other parent.
Women deserve to be safe from convicted abusers.
I hoe this MoJ cares enough to do better.

Its absolutely devastating, too many women are being abused and murdered through domestic violence. Too many men are not being held accountable. Women should feel safe always. This law will help so many. More needs to be done through the government and in changing the laws of this country.Susan Coates (Mayo, 2025-04-08)
