I personally travel by train it has been a pain to come to school let alone be told to go back home two hours later. I don't even know if ill be able to get home after school due to the irregular train services this is something the school should think about. THE SAFETY OF YOUR STUDENTS IS AT RISK. I’m sighing because many of my friends have battled to get to school. Some live in Utrecht, Bussum, Baarn etc. and many of them come from countries that have not had to deal with snow. And I know it is hard for them to bike because they are either to scared or just don’t know how to bike on ice. I have had to walk to school which is easy as I live close by, but some people live quite far away and can’t walk to school unless they wake up at 6 am. Many trains have been canceled and some parents can’t drive there kids to schoool either because they are nervous or don’t know how to drive in snow. Or evacuate like my mom works from 8am to 8 pm and cannot drive us. Some people have no way to get to school even though they want to.

I am signing because many students are not able to arrive to schoo other than with a bike. Going to school on the bike could be very dangerous especially when it’s snowy and slippery on the road. Therefore, I think we should have a free day tomorrow because of the fact that it snowed 15cm today. Biking in snowy days could also cause students to injury themselves which only leads to worse consequences.

It’s extremely difficult to travel to school on a snowy day as most trains will be canceled and it is an enormous risk to go by car or bike as you can skid. Therefore many students will either not be able to attend school or be late. So there is no use of keeping the school open on snowy days.
