Rehouse the Woodville Road residents

After years of living in Pch properties which our damp, mouldy and basically falling apart it was a relief in 2008 to finally be told that northprospect was going to be an area which was was to undertake a regeneration project.

Unfortunately for the residents of Woodville Road even though we knew our area was due a massive change we didn't know what was happening in our particular Street,

For the next several years we weren't sure if our street was going to be refurbished or knocked down,

Tenants were left not willing to decorate or put money into there properties for fear of it being money wasted

(why decorate a house due to be demolished) 

Finally in 2015 we received letters telling us that our street was finally being demolished and would be the next in northprospect to be done,In April 2016 we received our bidding numbers and were given priority,finally after 8 long years we were getting somewhere 

Several people were luckily enough to get houses almost immediately well others patiently waited there turns

Tenants started getting ready for the anticipated move, many getting rid of furniture,clothes toys and other household items which had been ruined by damp or mould from there present property 

On 11th July 2016 letters were issued to the residents of the street claiming lack of funding and stating that not only was our priority to bid being changed on Devon home choice but any one who moves will not get the payment they were promised 

Lots of tenants can not afford to replace what they have thrown people have taken away carpets as well as beds and without the money promised will be in great financial difficulties
