Petition for Precinct-Level Election Day Voting in Parker County, TX

We, the undersigned residents and voters of Parker County, Texas, hereby petition for the establishment of precinct-level, Election Day voting locations throughout our county.  Returning to precinct-level, Election Day voting will help ensure free, fair, and transparent elections are guaranteed to all voters as stated in the Constitution and hopefully eliminate the use of poll pads that connect to the internet.  Also precinct-level, Election Day voting will provide accessible polling places at the precinct level which is crucial for ensuring every eligible voter can participate in our constitutional republic process without unnecessary barriers.

Reasons for Petition:

1. Eliminate poll pads: Poll pads connect to the internet and do not ensure free, fair, transparent elections.
2. Accessibility: Precinct-level voting locations make it easier for voters to cast their ballots close to their homes or workplaces, reducing travel time and increasing voter turnout.
3. Convenience: Localized polling places simplify the voting process, enhancing convenience for voters who may have mobility issues or time constraints.
4. Community Engagement: By fostering a sense of community involvement, precinct-level voting encourages civic engagement and strengthens our local republic.
5. Reduced Wait Times: Distributing voting locations at the precinct level helps alleviate congestion at centralized polling places, resulting in shorter wait times and a smoother voting experience.
6. Enhanced Transparency: Voters can engage more directly with local election officials and observe the voting process firsthand, promoting transparency and confidence in election outcomes.
7. Public Awareness: We commit to increasing public awareness about precinct-level voting procedures, deadlines, and locations through effective communication channels.

Therefore, we respectfully urge the Parker County Commissioners and all relevant authorities to establish precinct-level voting locations for all Election Day elections in Parker County, Texas.
