Petition Against the Distribution of the Newspaper "Beautiful Popovo" in Popovo

Dear Sir/Madam,

We, the undersigned citizens of Popovo, express our dissatisfaction with the manner in which the newspaper "Beautiful Popovo" is distributed in our town, including within schools.

Our main concerns are as follows:

1. Distribution without consent: The newspaper is delivered to residential buildings, mailboxes, and schools without prior approval from citizens, parents, or relevant institutions. This is intrusive and disrespectful to people’s privacy.
2. Night-time distribution: The newspaper is often distributed during nighttime or early morning hours, raising concerns about residents' security and peace.
3. Unclear content: There is a risk that the materials in this newspaper may not meet the standards of accuracy and objectivity, potentially influencing readers negatively, especially young people.
4. Unethical practice: Distributing printed materials in schools without approval undermines transparency and accountability in the educational system.
5. Environmental impact: Mass distribution of printed newspapers often leads to unnecessary waste, as many remain unused.

With this petition, we call for the following actions:

1. To cease the distribution of the newspaper "Beautiful Popovo" in schools unless it is approved by the relevant institutions.
2. To stop the newspaper from being distributed during nighttime hours to ensure the peace and security of residents.
3. To establish a mechanism allowing citizens to express their consent or refusal to receive this newspaper.
4. To conduct an inspection of the newspaper’s content by the competent authorities to ensure it is appropriate and meets standards of accuracy and ethics.

We believe these measures will help protect the rights of citizens, students, and parents while improving control over the distribution of printed materials in our town.
