MumNet's Caregiver Louisa

We, the mothers of MumNet at St. John’s Norway, petition the MumNet Board of Directors to bring back Louisa Dolce as an infant caregiver.
We believe that Louisa was unfairly dismissed from her position at MumNet.
More substantive procedures for immediate review of such an incident and proper human resources must be established and practiced.
We sympathize with the mothers whose children’s health was brought into question. Our children’s health is of utmost importance.
According to the email that we received on November 24,
“The mothers were advised that no one knew what the smell or substance was, nor where it came from.”
When the situation arose, the people to question the caregivers should not have been the mothers affected by the incident but rather a neutral mother and caregiver supervisor. Information was withheld due to the manner in which Louisa was questioned.
In reference to the email received November 18, new procedures are now put in place to ensure all equipment is in working order. Because this was not the policy previously, Louisa’s attempt to repair a swing is a result of our lack of proper policy.
Given Louisa’s tenure of 18 years and solid record, we would like that her relief of duties at MumNet be considered a probation period for the Fall Session and that she be welcomed to return to MumNet at her previous capacity beginning with the January Session.
