The UN Charter on Human Rights speaks of rights the of people. These rights are everyones's rights and are entitled to enjoy and to have protected by law. They are inalienable and belong to every man, women and child who is in this world. Educational opprotunity access is a right for every human person to free himself or herself from any form of oppression and degradation. To forbit use of sign language by hearing impaired (deaf) in persuing their studies is totally dehumanizing and dis-respects and denies the very existence of this group of people with special needs in the world. Deaf people (HI) need sign language as glasses to read through, see through any form of injustices that lay ahead of them when they are educated. Sign language is a means to an end-free citizenship/liberated, and competent independent living beings. Sign language must continue to be used by hearing impaired in attaining education.
